I have this running from one end to the other in my galley kitchen. I live in an upstairs apartment, I'm clumsy, and I like my downstairs neighbor. I bought this in hopes she would continue liking me. It does wonders for muffling sound when I do drop something (a lot) and it's already saved a few dishes from exploding on impact with the tile floor below it. What I didn't expect was for it to be as soft as it is. I don't wear shoes [read: foot prisons, am I right?] indoors. I stand on it to cook, wash dishes, and wait for unhealthy food to heat in the microwave. Never have I thought it to be anything other than comfortable. It has a rubber(?) backing, which helps greatly with keeping my clumsiness volumes down, and it doesn't move around. It stays where you put it. I've come into the kitchen "hot" before and even then it didn't move when I rounded the corner quickly and kept me vertical. Which is good because I like my downstairs neighbor. ... show more

I really like the way this rug looks in my laundry room. The quality and design are very nice and the color was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is it slides around on my tile floor. I’ll have to get a mat for underneath so it doesn’t move every time I step on it. Overall I’d recommend this for the price. ... show more

I bought this on sale and it is a good buy for the price, gets the job done but it does attract a lot of pet fur which can be time consuming to get out since it gets embedded in the fabric.

Works fairly well in carpeted hallway but it does shift after a few passes through the hallway and has to be repositioned. This is not a plush rug but serves the purpose.

UPDATE: 6/28/2023 The Ottomanson Company makes good rugs. I now have three. For the price, they are good. My latest dilemma is with Amazon. I was looking for another rug in a nice print for the kitchen. I found a cute one with a vegetable design on it, made by Ottomanson. I ordered the run, then realized maybe I needed a larger size. I successfully cancelled before it shipped, got the email confirmation. That was June 19. They did note in the email that if by some chance my bank was charged for the rug even though it was cancelled that it would get refunded within 24 hours. It's been 5 business days. Still no refund. I have spoken with several Amazon representatives and they say my account was Not charged. They said I needed to call my bank. One said I need to file a dispute. One said wait a few more days. I don't think the Ottomanson Company would be too happy with Amazon for treating a good customer this way. They blame it on my bank. How would my bank know I had an Amazon transaction if Amazon did not charge me? My dog can now run without skating and sliding on the slick floor. It doesn’t slide or move out of place at all. It will be good to protect the floor from wear and tear from everyone. It’s thin but it works for us especially since it’s machine washable, it will fit in the washing machine better. I’m going to buy another one for in front of my sink and fridge. The corners do turn up some, but if you put some double sided tape down, it takes care of the problem. If they were thicker, they would not wash so well in the Washing Machine. ... show more

I got this for the kitchen sink area, and it works great as a lightweight utility rug. It doesn’t shift around or slip, an added bonus on a tile floor in a kitchen, and is cute enough. Good value for the price.
