I purchased 2 of these and luckily got them so cheap I wont even bother returning them. Let me start by saying it is indeed very soft, wonderful to put your bare feet on. That's the end of positive notes. I wash ALL my rugs now and then because of my dogs. BOTH these carpets did something I have never seen before. They FELL APART during the first cold wash. Seems the edges have no seam. Now you'll say "Well, who washes a rug", but I promise you, I have washed MANY and while they may shrink, get "harder" maybe lose a little shape, depending on brand, I have never had one unravel on me! I paid 15 bucks each, so I will suck it up and throw them out rather then bothering to drag them back to the post office.. ... show more

The rug looks great and feels super soft until there is an area of high use. Where everyone puts there feet from the couch its matted down Also, do not let water spill on this rug. If water spills it will compromise the rug. I have had this rug in my main living room for a little over a month. Honestly the rug at Aldi for half the price of this that I had prior was a better deal. Added pics to show high traffic area and low traffic side. I was looking for a wool flokati that would be "side of the bed" size, but really couldn't find one. I tried this one based on the reviews and found that it really is great. The pile is at least 3" high, not glossy, and super soft to the touch. I chose the grey color which is a pale grey. The rug doesn't have rubbery backing. I think you would need a non-slip rug pad under it on a tile or hardwood floor so you won't slip and slide. The backing is tightly woven and the edges seem well done. It arrived rolled in a plastic bag, but unrolled to flat immediately with no curling edges. It also didn't have a chemical smell from being a synthetic, which was nice. I would totally recommend this to anyone in any size it comes in. It's super nice to walk on! ... show more

Wasn’t expecting anything incredible honestly, just something to do the job. But I love this rug! Material is very soft and looks better in person than in the picture in my opinion (atleast for the ivory one).

This rug exceeded my expectations on quality. The fibers are long and dense. It's soft and plush. I vacuumed thoroughly and none of the fiberes pulled or came loose. The gray color is not as quite as dark as pictured but still a beautiful color that fit our needs perfectly. The only bad thing I can say is when it arrived it had a very strong unpleasant chemical-like sent to it. I assume the scent came from the backing glue or material used. The smell was so overwhelming we had to take it outside and let it air out in for a day. After bringing in the smell was gone. I assume it was packaged (with tight plastic) too soon after being manufactured and needed time to settle. ... show more

I got theses for next to each side of the bed, as we do not have carpet in the bedroom. They are REALLY nice. Feel great on your feet when you get out of bed. There is nothing chinsy about these rugs - I was pleasantly surprised. (They did have a rather unique smell when the packaging was opened, but it went away within a few hours). We have a floating floor in the bedroom and the rugs do slide easily, so I will be getting some Gorilla grip for them to keep them in place. The shipping was fast.     • Bad Carpet Don't Recommend.
Horrible experience. First, the edges of the carpet are bad there's nothing I can do the edges still fold up. Also, the carpet is losing the "flokati". I paid a lot for the big one cause of the good reviews but this has been really bad.
