I had this exact case on my phone from when I got it in the brick and mortar... but a few weeks ago I was crawling through an attic and I got the rubbery part snagged and tore it... I'd had that old case for well over a year, probably closer to 2, and this failure was not the fault of the case, I knew when I got snagged and that it was my fault... but much to my surprise, when I ordered this replacement, it was exactly like my old one, so all I had to do was put on the new outer rubber and I was good to go, the inner hard plastic was still fine....I was surprised the new rubber fit my old hard plastic parts... ... show more

After three years of heavy, daily use, the rubber on/off button on my old one somehow managed to go missing and the rubber down by where the protector for the USB port had started to tear as well.
