I am currently on my fourth defender for my 11 in 2nd gen iPad Pro. The Otter box has done well protecting my device, although at the cost of breaking once the plastic corners of the screen shield get brittle. The flip down side for the apple pen also tends to break off after a couple months. The most imports thing is that it has protected my screen and whole device through many drops from 1-2’. The warranty effectively ran out when there were no more new ones at Otter to replace it. I have continued to be able to purchase them online though. ... show more

Typical OtterBox quality this one meets every criteria an expectation. OtterBox has been on all of my digital devices now for going on six or seven years several iPads a couple of iPhones and Samsung galaxies. Never have any issues screen protectors seem to work just fine with the case however as we all know weight is the major issue with anything like this case. It's the price you pay for the Rigid construction which will save you when it falls to the ground someday on the corner. Overall a great screen protector tempered glass or Matte finish and this case should suffice so you don't have to pay additionally for Apple's protection program. I don't care about the color I want the device to work for at least 3 to 5 years with no issues that's why I invest in cases which cost $60-$80 and not 20. I highly recommend any and all otter cases some are a little more robust than others that's up to you what is your preference but you can't go wrong. My only other recommendation would be the cases from ZAGG and Supcase Unicorn beetle which seem to be very competitive in form of function and protection. ... show more

The otter box case fit perfect on my iPad Pro 11 inch, the pen for my iPad fit perfect on the side where it’s supposed to go. Make sure you buy new, the first otter box case that I bought for my iPad didn’t fit right. I purchased it from the Amazon ware house, the description said it had imperfections and used. I had to send it back due to it not fitting right and the front shield had a ripple in it. Thank goodness I had an otter box on my old iPad or I wouldn’t have known how to put this otter box case on my iPad. Unfortunately there’s no direction’s on how to put it on, YouTube doesn’t have very good videos on how to put the otter box case on the iPad. I would most definitely recommend an otter box case before I would purchase a cheaper case for your iPad, otter box has a really good warranty for them, also good support system.
