This 15.7” is perfect for a 5lb animal!!! This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a 4 pound Yorkie with compressed vertebrae, which makes it hard for her to hold her head up so this creates the perfect, 360° of support for her head whether she lays on her stomach or her back or side. It’s not gonna be firm like some of the other donuts that are out there and it’s not gonna be as high and that’s why I was looking for this exactly because it is so hard to find one that is low enough for her and soft enough because she’s so small, so if you have a kitten or puppy or teacup, this is great for them. I also highly recommend putting it on top of some thing with memory foam because the bottom is not supportive enough so I have it in her canopy bed on top of a memory foam bathmat rug.

I have 2 of this type of bed, but this is definitely the better-made of the two. It is really well-stuffed around the ring, and in the bottom. My other, a different brand, doesn't have nearly as much stuffing and the fabric isn't as soft. It arrives vacuum-packed and absolutely flat as a pancake, but it fluffs up nicely. I bought the very smallest for my 3.5 lb Chihuahua. If your dog is over about 4.5 lbs, I think you'll have to go up a size. This one is really, really tiny, but it works well for her, and she loves it.

Our kitties love this bed. It’s their favorite texture and the two little ones constantly suckle on it. Only dislike is that the bottom of it is not at all rigid and is super flopsy. Would be nice to have a little more structure there.

It is very soft & seems like it would be comfortable. I would ask my cats but they’re no help. Unfortunately, I somehow did not notice that dog in the preview is photoshopped onto it. This is much smaller than I realized. I didn’t pay attention to the proportions though which is my fault. Just want to put it out there that the pics are a bit deceiving. I have two adult cats, one of which is a bit overweight, & they can each fit on it though there’s not much room left over & they certainly aren’t able to sink down into it as I imagined. Still, they have gotten a little use out of it so far & it is good quality.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a little bed for my desktop. My pup likes to hang out on my desk while I work sometimes; but we couldn’t figure out a comfortable way for her to be up here. I wanted something small, but cozy. This is just her nap bed, and it’s perfect!!!! She’s 12lbs and likes to nap curled up into a little ball. She saw it and jumped towards me with excitement. She instantly knew this was a bed for my desk. Ordered: small, if was to use as daily bed I would have ordered medium or large. But for my needs of a small desk bed; small was perfect for my 12 lb pup that curls up to nap.

Bought this bed previously and it still is in great shape months later. Looks as good as new and gets used daily. Not a lot of cushion but my dog is tiny so not a big deal. However just ordered another and it came in the airtight bag but had a (leak) hole so someone rolled it tight and taped it with what seemed like an entire roll of packing tape. The rip in the plastic extended thru to bottom of bed so it arrived ripped. Was a small hole on the bottom. Not a huge thing but also not how you want a new product to arrive. The tape needed a magician to undo it. Usually the trick is to give the bed a few good shakes to fluff it up but this one was not having it. If this had been my first purchase from this company I’d never come back. Either this bed was a return packed badly and damaged or one that Amazon never looked at before packing it up. Not returning cause too much trouble for the value but disappointing for sure.

The foam is so cheap that is completely flattens out when my 12 lb dog rests in it. 8" High on the sides that flattens to 1/2" -that's how poor quality the foam is. The quality of this bed has severely dropped. I bought one 2 years ago that was made with quality materials. I wish I had bought 2 back then.
