As expected these stands hold up to OTC quality. Fit, finish, materials and operation is among the best (and yes, welds are flawless). The only downside (for me) is the saddle. This S03 supersedes the 5372 3-Ton Stinger stands and I was delighted to see the advertising image displays a less V-shaped saddle (like those found on the 6-Ton Stingers). Unfortunately, as can be seen in my picture, the S03s I received have the overly aggressive pinch-weld-favoring deep V saddle that I was intentionally attempting to avoid. 5 stars for quality, 3 stars for saddle change vs. advertised = 4 stars. ... show more

There's only a few companies I'm willing to trust my life to. Snap-on and Mac also make great jackstands. Those cost way more though. These are beautifully made, finished, and welded. When I crawl under my truck, I always trust that they are doing their job. They're trustworthy and gorgeous too! They're just nice to hold and admire.     • V Grove in saddle is deeper than shown in picture.
Quality and packaging is miles above any made in china item I have ever received. No ripped or torn cardboard or damage of any kind. Fit and finish is flawless. V grove in Saddle is not as shown in Amazons picture, it is deeper and more aggressive.

    • Made in China. Poor welds.
I returned this item because the welds appeared to be cracked on the inside. The finishing was not executed well. I ended up purchasing US Jack jack stands. They cost twice as much, but were much more well done. The welds were robust and these jacks held my car without concern. If I am going to trust my life and my valuable property to equipment it made sense for me to spend more on quality American made products. ... show more
