I just bought this and only used it twice, so I can't speak for how long-term durability yet, but for me, this chair is great. It's light, easy to open and close and it's very comfortable. But, I'm 5'4" and 115 lbs. I do see how someone who is bigger would find it too small and maybe even too flimsy. You can not just drop yourself into this chair - you have to sit in it. So - no - if you are big, or even kind of big, you might not be comfortable. And/or you can not sit down without "plopping" down into the chair, it is not going to hold up.

I was looking for an affordable lounge chair to use a few times a week. This one for the budget. It’s not as fancy as others nor will it probably hold up for more than a year but it’s suitable. This is my first chair with the head and arms cut out area and I’ll never go back to the old way. That part is a game changer.

I was replacing a 2 year old lounge chair with a face cutout that had rusted and mildewed (though I kept it on the inner part of a balcony - lesson learned, store them inside). I couldn’t believe how much they have gone up in price! This seemed to have enough features to give it a chance for the money. (I got the red for $59.) I got it today and unfolding was a cinch. READ THE DIRECTIONS on how to unfold it and you won’t have any problems with the legs staying securely open. That said, it’s temperamental to lock into an upright reclining position. When you open it, it will not lock into any reclining position, you can only unfold it fully flat then raise it to reclining positions. From there it only raises more upright, you can’t go back to a more reclined position or flat without fully folding it inward. That could be awkward or annoying, but it does recline if you follow those steps. It is narrow, my arms won’t fit on it. It’s not overly long for laying flat, my feet (at 5’5”) rest uncomfortably on the bar and have to be shifted off the side to be as comfortable as it’s going to get. Sitting reclined the length is fine. The face pads were comfortable and the arm holes were positioned fine for me. It sits high enough to comfortably read under but is otherwise a low lying chaise to get up from. It did not sag and supported my weight, so it seems sturdy - but repeated use over time will tell. It is also fairly lightweight to carry, folding up nicely and not too thick, and has a shoulder strap. Overall, for its features and price I think it’s a good buy as long as it lasts. Just beware of the funky recliner positioning.

I love this chair. Unlike what others have said, I don't have any problem with it folding up on me when I try to adjust it, and it seems durable. Others have also mentioned that the material dryrots. Since the material is the standard canvas for a cot, I assume if I left it out in the weather, it's only logical that it would dryrot. Since it's easy to move around, I fold it up and bring it in with me when I'm done using it. I particularly love the face-down, massage table-style hole for my face and the added cut-outs that allow me to tuck my arms in so I can easily turn the pages on my Kindle when I'm sunning on my belly, too. I'm buying a second one for my sister. If you're looking for something like a permanent deck chaise that you leave outside all the time, this might not be for you, but if you want a portable, comfortable chaise for sunning, especially on your stomach, then this is well worth your money! The umbrella is nice too. I bought it separately but will buy the pair this time around.

So disappointed in this chair. I bought this about a month ago to use this summer at the beach, but each time for weeks it rained every time I went to go to the beach. When I finally got a chance to go today, I brought this chair that I was super excited to use for weeks. I was so excited to lay out and use the face hole and adjust the settings to sit up, lay down, etc. it was awful. It immediately broke. I tried to set it up and the legs kept collapsing and wouldn’t stay up for some weird reason, despite following instructions for setup. Then I finally got them to “click” and stay solid, but when I laid down, the foot rest flew upwards and would not go back down. When I tried to gently push it down to adjust it back, the metal piece and bolt on the side completely snapped and broke at the side of the foot rest area. No matter how much I tried to fix it it wouldn’t work. The metal piece came out and the bolt would not stay in. Then it just began to fall apart and wouldn’t stay upright. Terrible terrible terrible. I don’t know if I received a defective unit or what. Was so excited to use this at the beach and it ended up taking up a ton of my relaxing time trying to get the stupid thing to work, and it broke immediately upon first use. Went to return or exchange, and it was out of my return window by a few days. Luckily Amazon refunded me due to the situation. But seriously this was a very big pain. Total piece of crap, waste of money. You can just feel that it’s cheap and falls apart quickly. And it’s quite expensive for that to happen. Not happy.

It's just arrived (quickly), seems sturdy, is easy to open and set up. I love the head pillow and the functional face opening for lying flat on your stomach and being able to read or whatever. The fabric seems durable, and the color (in my case, reddish-pink) is vibrant. I also like the shoulder strap. It seems light enough to carry easily. To add, I haven't made a lot of use of it yet, so can't say much more but I'm very pleased so far!
