When I first saw this chair, a couple was enjoying music in the park and I noticed that they were rocking back and forth? I was flabbergasted, not realizing that these were designed as rockers! I asked the couple if indeed, these camp chairs were rockers and the husband jumped up, telling me that the first time he saw them was in a park and he had a similar response to mine, asking the guy in the chair if it was indeed, a camp chair rocker? That guy had my guy sit in the chair, which my guy had me do after he explained his story to me. It was comfortable and it rocked! He said that he had taken a picture of the chair, so he wouldn't forget. I immediately went on to Amazon and ordered 2 chairs (but the XL, because I'm a big guy). My only note is, the chair could be a little bit deeper, meaning the seating surface. When I naturally sit down on the chair, it "feels" like my knees are a long way from the seating surface, making me feel the need to sit more upright. However, after sitting in the chair for a couple of hours in the park a couple of weeks ago (listening to music, as it happens), the chair was very comfortable and I didn't even notice if I was sitting upright or slouching a little. Maybe it will be different after an entire weekend camping, but right now this chair is a winner in my book! Highly recommend! ... show more
