I have always had great success with the craftsman tools, I have owned over the years. Highly polished, no issues, perfect. I have used the 3/8ths universal, and it worked perfectly as expected. Even though these are no longer made in USA, which is sad, these are from Taiwan, which is good, if you can't get it from USA. You can't go wrong with craftsman tools. ... show more

For the most part, I look for alternatives to Craftsman tools since they outsourced manufacturing to China. That being said, they are still better than other big brand tools (which are also made in China). So, these u-joints serve the purpose and didn't break the bank.     • Never know when you need them but when you do...
I bought these one day after watching a youtube video on replacing my oil pan gasket on my vehicle because I thought one day I will do that project (still haven't to this day). So these just sat in my tool box. One day I was replacing my water pump and there was one bolt just could not get off (due to the location and angle) with any wrench, ratchet, socket etc. I started rounding out the bolt head. Figured I had one more try before I completely rounded out the bolt and I remembered I had these joint adapters, so I gave it a try and worked like a charm! Needed a set of universal joint socket adapters in my tool box. These adapters are flawlessly finished with smooth movement (no flat spots). Fit my ratchets and extensions firmly. They are well built for my purposes. I give them 5-stars for quality control.
