Prefer an off-the-back hydration solution instead of an over-the-shoulder pack? The Seral 7 lumbar pack was made for you. Featuring an included 1.5-liter lumbar reservoir and magnetic bite valve that attaches to the hipbelt for easy access. Some lumbar packs have a tendency to creep around while you ride,we promise this one wont. Compression straps pull the pack into your lower back and wrap around your hips for supreme stability, even over technical terrain. A zippered main compartment and hipbelt pockets fit your spare tube, patch kit, CO2 inflator and more. Our bike-specific, angled hipbelt and compression straps provide stability and comfort by keeping the pack close to your body. This is created by a breathable airmesh wrap hipbelt that contours over the hipbone, Osprey's ErgoPull cross-body waist strap closure system that pulls the pack into the lumbar and side compression straps that pull the load close to your body, providing the most comfortable, secure and stable carry. Designed for riders who require hydration or gear storage while riding, but prefer the off-the-back carry and minimalism provided by lumbar packs. Constructed with PFC-free recycled bluesign®-approved nylon; a sustainable build that's tough and durable to endure years of riding.

So did my research, and settled on the Osprey Seral 7. Got it delivered. Looked amazing…till I inspected closely. As you can see from the pictures, there was material scratches and looked like it got hooked on some metal/abrasive. To top it off, the magnet that is supposed to be on the belt, was missing. I can’t believe people don’t do their due diligence when sending out a product, and check it out thoroughly. I think if it had less material scratches, I could live with it. There is a warranty on it, but I was really excited to use this Osprey product. Not sure if I’m going to use it for a ride tomorrow, and return it, or use it at my peril. Unbelievable! ... show more

I help lead mountain bike rides, so I carry more food and first aid supplies than I would need for myself. I do not like backpacks because the pressure on my shoulders leads to neck pain, and they make me overheat easier. This hip pack is the sweet spot for me with the capacity of a small back pack and comfort of a hip pack. I can carry plenty of water, first aid, snacks, and the side straps allow my to bring either 2 jackets or a jacket and extra elbow pads. The side pockets are generously sized and easily accessible. The belt is able to be tightened enough that the bag doesn't bounce around too much with technical downhill riding, and is also the most comfortable hip bag I've worn. I LOVE THIS BAG. ... show more

I like the material it's made of. It is not that plastic feel you get on cheaper bags, this one is made very well. It hold alot of stuff. I think even more than some backpacks I have tried. Good air flow between you and the pack with minimal sweating. It does tend to slide down just a bit but that's all in the adjustments. You will have to readjust the bag tighter as you drink water from the awesome reservoir it comes with. I thought the magnet for the water tube was good but went ahead and put on a camel back magnet on and that was real strong. I am very pleased over all with this pack and look forward to many rides with it. ... show more

This is supposed to be a cycling bag. I use it for less than 5 mile hikes. I love it! Water reservoir, and plenty of space for snacks, wallet, keys, go pro, phone, it’s perfect.
