We recommend the OSD SMP500 DSP, a subwoofer amplifier built to pair with in-ground subs like this one. It's stable enough to power two XSUB12 MKII units wired in parallel. Wiring: use direct-burial speaker cable — 14 AWG for runs up to 50 ft, 12 AWG beyond that
