Was a bit hesitant when ordering these. You never know what you are going to get with these and everyone is shaped so differently. But was so pleasantly surprised. LOVE them. I was preparing for a 2wk European British Isle tour.......LOTS of walking. I wanted something that would be great support without causing irritation. Just a nice support. I searched for 2 weeks and poured over reviews. And settled on these. I ordered for both knees so I would have support for both even though I technically only have 1 bad knee. I am so glad I did. They worked great!!! 2 years ago, I did a Tour of Italy and ordered a neoprene one for just the bad knee. That brace was like walking through hell. It was thick, bulky and not breathable causing irritation and blisters. I didn't want to repeat that again. I am now back from my tour and so glad I took these. I wore them daily....even on the airplane in place of my compression socks. My knees never gave way, didn't have the severe pain I was expecting......it was a nice trip all due to having the support I needed. Since getting home, I haven't worn them and I honestly kinda miss them. I didn't realize how much a little support goes a long way. I didn't realize how much support they provided to my weak knee until I stopped wearing them. So needless to say, even though I am home, when I go out......yep, I am wearing it. I really liked the placement of the anti-slip grips on the inside of the braces. I was concerned with irritation but never had an issue with that. There are anti-slip grips around the knee and along the upper and lower bands. Some customers mentioned slippage. Please note.....when you pull the brace on, the upper and lower bands have to be completed flat against the leg or you will have slippage. It created almost like seal of sorts. The few times I had issues with slippage, I could see that the upper band around the thigh had a spot that wasn't flat against the skin. Once corrected, slippage wasn't a problem. I also highly recommend ordering a size up. Had I gone with the recommended size, they would have never worked. Some customers also mentioned seams coming apart. I did notice that the seams in the back of the brace starting to separate. But I also noticed it is separating from being pulling on from the top of the brace. Now I pull it on with the sides collected together instead of just pulling from the top. I highly recommend these braces and will definitely be repurchasing them. ... show more

It has very good compression. Silicon inserts inside patella keep brace in place. There is good breathability. The only concern is durability as it lasts only few months. It is also priced at higher end compared to similar braces on amazon.

    • A knee sleeve that *actually* stays put and stabilizes

The headline says it all-- this is one of the few knee sleeves out there that actually stays in position while providing stability and relief. I do a lot of distance running, and this is the first sleeve that I haven't had to stop using due to having to hike back up into position (all other knee sleeves I've used quickly drift down on the upper part above the knee, and won't hold on.) It doesn't cut off circulation (I have large thighs, and would notice) and is very comfortable. My particular issue revolves around a loose ligament inside/under my knee that is sometimes very painful, and I also struggle with the ability to do deep knee bends or jumps (getting older.) With this on, the issues are about only 10% of what they were, if at all! I feel like I have the knee I remember in my mid/late 20s again. Before leaving my review, I wanted to wait a couple months and make sure that the sleeve would remain in good shape. After a lot of running in it. the sleeve continues to stay put on my knee during use. In my experience, this truly is a 5-star product, and I'm going to buy another for use during the day when I'm not running (handwashing can only remove so many weeks and months of sweat.) My parents and siblings already know about this brand, and I'll tell anyone about this sleeve if the subject comes up. It's worth buying, 100% ... show more
