The android app said it was unavailable and that's why I got it is because you could use a app ! Others on YouTube said they couldn't get it to work on Android devices either ! I had sent it back by the time customer service took the time to respond to my email

I have yet to get something to use this on, it's big and heavy though, I think I'm going to need a ton of safety gear like breathing masks and specialty eye wear so once I get all of that and something I can laser engrave I will update this.

This isn’t the strongest laser at 10W but it definitely engraves on wood fairly well. I did a few test runs with stock images in their app to get a feel for it and they worked good. Then I tried to make some name tags from some black coated stainless steel tags meant for laser engraving and for the life of me I couldn’t get it to break through the black coating. I tried every setting I could think of including power strength and materials settings, but nothing would work. I also found the accuracy of the guidance system to be a little wonky at times. I would preview the outer shape of the tags, which basically runs the laser really low around the outside so you can line it up, and every time I’d rerun it without moving anything else it wouldn’t be in the exact same place. I did manage to burn a short saying on a tray table I was building with my own font. The size of the tray was slightly bigger than the regular area, so I had to put a piece of wood under it to raise it above the corner guidance screws, then readjust the height of the laser with their calibration bar attached to the side of the laser. The engraving did come out slightly off center, but the piece was big enough that you can’t really tell. I think this will be fun once I get the hang of it and also find a more permanent home for it, but until then it will just be more tests pieces.
