I love this back support! I had my low back fused, so now I have discomfort in my upper back. I've wanted some sort of support for the upper middle back, and this is the answer. i do not do the shoulder straps as directed though. For my needs I pull the straps down over my shoulders and cross them over in front and then velcro them together in back. This way it supports my back. I ordered it according to the measurement suggestion, but it is alittle snug, so I reordered it up one size. One other thing I would suggest they make a longer option too. This one stops right at my waist. It would be more support if it had longer options too.

I am using this posture support to hopefully minimize the progression of my scoliosis. Immediately upon putting it on I feel a shift in my balance and weight bearing. I find it helpful in providing support and muscle memory. It was initially awkward to sit in it as the metal stays seem to push up causing some discomfort. I now wear it lower when sitting. I’m grateful to have a quality brace to use. The cost was a bit higher than other brands, but the quality and stability it provides is worth it.

After asking many questions, I purchased a size large and it was too big (I have a 34" waist)Women's). Some of the pictures and descriptions look like the fitting is around the hips or the chest, but the correct measurement is the waist. The definition of waist is a line around your body 2" above your belly button. The description says your "largest waist measurement" - there is no "largest waist", it is only one place. The brace goes above your hips and below your breasts. This is the smallest measurement for most women. But if you are overweight and have a large belly then it may not be the smallest, It may be the largest, but that is where the thing goes. It is very stretchy and needs to be tight in order to hold you in place. It isn't a rigid support, just gentle support. The key is that the straps around the shoulders are supposed to pull your shoulders back. In order to get that tight enough to actually pull, you have to cinch the straps around your waist. It would be better if the straps for your shoulders didn't wrap around the waist, but just attached to the top of the waist straps. It would be better if they weren't so stretchy. I am going to see if I can find one that does that.

Great support! - sturdier than most. Assist low back and middle back pain or discomfort with added support, does NOT Roll in this area. Should with additional coverage is nice. - rolls a little on the shoulder but like the wrap support. Good product!! Use it often with college work, sitting and standing.

its look well made but looks can be deceiving. the straps that are made to bring your shoulders back a way to short. I can't even get the straps around me the way the directions say to and I ordered the XXL. Could Easily be a 5 star product if the straps were just longer. So no I would not recommend it.
