These boots are really comfortable and have ample room for my feet to rest comfortably and not feel squished. They also came with extra insole inserts If you find the boots "to roomy" and arch support inserts. Turns out , arch support on my right foot was helpful. Although I am hesitant to get boots with zippers as that is usually the weak spot (and I did have a zipper tang break within a month and Orthofeet replaced under warranty) , I wanted something easy to put on as I have bilateral foot drop and the rear zippers vs side zippers on other boots looked a lot easier for me to put the boots on. I do find these the easiest to put on due to the rear zippers and like I said earlier , they are very comfortable and roomy. I do need to use AFO's sometimes due to my footdrop but I would not recommend using "In the shoe" AFO's as I'm sure the zippers would not take the extra stress (I have other footwear for those). But I have used the AFO style's that attach to either laces or lace eyelets. What I like about these boots in regards to the "lace style" AFO's is that If you have the type that attaches to the lace eyelets , the eyelets have metal grommets in them so your not pulling on the leather and If you have the type that attaches to the laces , the bottom lace doesn't have the middle loop that some other shoes have that can get in the way. In regards to the zipper tang breaking within a month , I have always been careful with pulling on the zippers on any footwear and when I contacted Orthofeet , they responded quickly and actually shipped me a new pair which was appreciated. So as it stands , I really like these boots due to the initial quality , comfort , style and ease of putting on and off. I would recommend these and I will look at their other footwear for future purchases.

I’ve been an automotive technician for over 30 years, working primarily on concrete floors. Foot comfort is essential, and uncomfortable shoes can make a single day feel like a year. These shoes are amazingly comfortable and the multiple layers of insoles allow for a custom fit. The zippers are very convenient, and the leather uppers are resistant to shop fluids. Non-slip soles complete the package. I am going to order a second pair right away. Cannot say enough good things about these shoes!

I ordered about a half size too large, so I just tighten up my boots or wear two pairs of socks (which make my feet feel better). The zippers work perfectly, so I can quickly put on or take off my boots. I use my boots to work in the yard and walk timber, so they get lots of action. I use mink oil to keep the leather waterproof and soft.

Boots themselves are fine, good fit, and the zippers int eh back make it much easier to feet in. My issue is that the boots were at a door, which has a sign that says, "Please make deliveries around the corner at other door." As a result, the package was left outside in the rain for two days before I found it. Everything from the outer box, the inner box and the boots were wet. Once dried, the boots are fine.

The zipper part is easy to put on shoes. And comfortable. Only thing is they should be a little more of a high step. The top of foot rubs on the top. Or it could be me getting used to them

Let me preface this with these shoes are extremely comfortable. I'm on my second pair. The reason I don't rate higher is due to the fact the zipper pull tabs break extremely easily. This doesn't make them any less comforatble, but the ease of putting on and not having to tie each time like traditional shoes is gone. I had three of the four zipper pull tabs break on first pair. I thought maybe I was being rough on them. I bought second pair because of the comfort. However, within a couple weeks the first of tabs on new pair broke while zipping. A few months into second pair and I cannot use zippers on one shoe and the other only has one left. They are NOT tight on me, so I'm not trying to squeeze in them. They are just weak. I'm hesitant to buy again and will have to find a comparable company with better quality to them overall.
