  • Amazing Buy!!!
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Black/Dark/Grey
Bought these boots for a Franconia Ridge hike in New Hampshire. I had only one quick 3-mile walk to test them out before the grueling conditions of the ridge, so I was a bit unsure how they'd perform. I'm thrilled to report that these boots kick ass for the cost. I bought a size wide to accommodate thick wool socks, and these boots went the distance. Whether keeping my feet perfectly dry crossing streams, providing ankle support on craggy and unpredictable surfaces, or keeping me steady on slippery inclines and declines, these boots hung tough with every step. Yeah, I wish the tongue was a bit higher and wider, and some eyelets further back on the ankle would be nice, but those are improvements, not problems. I 100% recommend giving these boots a try for rugged, wet-weather wear. ... show more

  • 5 stars for the price
Size: 10 Wide Color: All Black
You’ll get the most value out of these boots. I use these for work on landscape and large property maintenance. I average about 8 miles a day and beat these boots up. Ive purchased all sort of lightweight boots from $100-$300 and they all seem to last 6 months of heavy use. Had these for 7 months and its time to replace them. I’ve calculated around 900-1000 miles of walk time on these including rain and mud (alot of mud) the first thing that goes on these are the insoles followed by the outer seams at the top of the rubber sole (highlighted in picture). I give these 5 stars due to the durability compared to other boots 3-4x the price. I can replace these 4 times a year if I wanted to for the price of one big name boot. They are non-slip and water resistant. ... show more

  • A good hiking boot and a very good price.
Size: 9.5 Color: Brown/Black/Tan
Lets start with the good - These are really comfortable from the start. I have had them so far about a week and a half and have done only light walking - so I will return to update the review later on. Things to note - they come with an extra pair of laces which is nice because finidng matching laces for hiking boots is always difficult. They are comfortable, though I lace only on the lower hooks - the upper one is more restrictive and presses on the ankles. I will use the upper ones though when we go on our upcoming hiking trip where the increased ankle support will be usefuel. The tongue could have been made another half inch longer to be perfect. It goes just up to the the lace line, so sometimes if laced to the top, the laces can pop over the top of the tongue. The shoes are flexable to start, but a short wear in period would be recommended before serious hiking. There is ample toe wiggle room - which for me is a must. There is nice arch support as well. Some people have reported need for a different insole, though for now I don't see the need (based on reviews, I purchased one and am keeping it on hand incase need comes up with the serious hiking. These are priced at a level that even if they wear out in two or three years, I could buy 4 paris for the price of the more fancy brands, and for those of you not doing super long high weight hiking - no real reason to spend the extra money. Water - so far been through a few rainy days and puddles - haven't gotten wet. Temp - the shoes are a bit warm in the Cincinnati spring. I suspect when we get to the summer and desert - the shoes may feel hot. Will have to see. Be back with more after more serious hiking and weather. ... show more

  • Way to big for the labeled size
Size: 12 Color: Army Green-leather
This shoe isn't a size 12, it must be at least a size 13. I can get two fingers width between my heel and the back of the shoe. I will order another shoe 1 shoe size less than what I wear in hopes that it fits. Its strange nobody mentions this in the reviews. I've never tried on a shoe that was more off - bigger- than the labeled size. ... show more

  • great boots
Size: 14 Color: Black/Dark/Grey
pretty awesome boots. I think they size a little large. but were comfortable and waterproof which is great. I hiked rockie mountain trails in these and they felt great. I would recommend swapping out the insoles for soemthing better. but over grear boots for the price!!

  • Very well made. Good mataerials. Confirmed 100% waterproof
Size: 12 Wide Color: All Black
We all know that you usually "get what you pay for", but these are an exception. These are solid boots. Made with quality materials, and manufactured without glue line, etc. I'm a 12 wide, and the wide fit boot is actually wide, unlike most boots that just say they are. The first few times you wear these, they will be super stiff, but they will break in. Good ankle support for hikes. And I stood ankle deep in a river, fishing, for about an hour without even the slightest amount of dampness getting in. ... show more

  • Too Narrow For Me
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Taupe-suede
Not a bad shoe at all at this price point, but for me they were too narrow. I have a wide foot, and ordered the wide size, but they were still too narrow. These would probably be okay for someone without a wide foot, but for me they were not. I had to return them and went with another shoe (same size, but a name brand) and they are a great fit. Although I had to spend $20 more, it is well worth it for the comfort. ... show more

  • Great fit and durable
Size: 8 Color: Brown/Black/Tan
Bought a pair of these for my husband. It liked them so well, I ordered another pair. He said they were the most comfortable pair he has ever worn. I ordered his regular size and they fit perfect.
