I have purchased 6 other comparable-priced brand hikers over the past 6 years. The quality of the Orthofeet Ridgewood surpasses all the others. The shoe materials and stitching set it apart. Of course, it remains to be seen whether they will stand the test of time and daily wear. Sizing was not an issue. I ordered the 11W that I needed and these fit perfectly. If Orthofeet reads reviews, I would like them to know I would prefer eyelets like their Hunter has. All shoes using the Ridgewood hook-eyelets on the two top positions have tendencies to come undone periodically.

I bought these for my recent trip to Italy, we walked 8,000 to 10,000 steps per day and my feet never hurt, not one time. They were a pleasure to wear, I love them so much and all the other styles of Orthofeet shoes I own, will never buy another brand!! My sister and daughter also have much loved pairs of the Orthofoot shoes!!!!!

I have many feet issues which also includes me having to wear a brace all the time on one foot. These boots were comfortable right off the bat. This never happens for me when I buy any other shoes or boots. I've had these boots now for three weeks and wear every day. Very pleased so far. Time will see how they hold up. I like the different thickness inserts, makes for a even better fit.

I purchased these for my husband because I bought myself a pair of orthofeet shoes a couple years ago and I like them so much, and I have to say wow! They're the first shoes in 7 years that he's been able to wear that didn't hurt, and that actually fit his feet. He's walking without pain and that's amazing. Highly recommended!
