The jacket is great! Even without the jacket on you are warm. Charging does take a bit, but that’s fine. It warms up pretty quick and it does the job very well! My one suggestion is that I would possibly consider a different jacket only because the battery is proprietary. The same time I bought this jacket I bought a different one for my son. With that jacket, you can use different external batteries rather than the only one that they sent you. This particular jacket you can only use the battery that they give you. That’s something I think about. Other than that, it works great! I mentioned the battery because it lasts for about six hours and I would like the ability to change it out with a different battery like my son can.

I have used this 5 or 6 times . First few times I used it the temperature outside was like 32 degrees with a wind chill of 26 degrees so I used the shell of my Columbia winter coat (that coat has a down zip out liner which I had taken out) I just had a t shirt and then the heated fleece with the shell over that and felt the heat was just ok, knowing the fit on the fleece was just a little large I rolled my shoulders forward so the heating element was against my back and o man it felt great. I went out two more times when the temperature was 24 degrees with a wind chill temp of 16 this time instead of the Columbia shell going over I used a mid weight wool jacket and man the weight of the jacket was enough to have the heating elements snug against my back and chest and the heat was great ( I should say that I had the heat on high). I have to say I really like this jacket 😄👍

I take this heated jacket with me EVERYWHERE!!! As a production professional, sitting in ballrooms get very cold and there's nothing better than being able to get warm quickly. Battery lasts forever and jacket does exactly what's advertised. I'm looking to buy another battery so that I have two to swap

Im not sure who likes this more... me or my dog! She loves to curl up on it, lol. To be serious though, this is an awesome product. At medium heat you can hold a charge for most of the day!

Update: So I will leave my original review below in the event anyone is interested in it... Since my review, Ororo did reach out to me about my issues of the wires bunching up. They did even exchange the jacket itself at no cost in the event it was an odd defect/etc.... I did receive the replacement item and have been using it. I did increase my review from 3-4 stars due to their customer service on the matter. Does the replacement still feel like it's bunching up...sadly it does but after talking to them and seeing 2 of the same it's just the way they are routing the heating wires and they will hopefully in the future run them slightly different. Overall it is a good heated jacket and worth what I paid for it...would still buy it again. ************************************************************************** So I've had this coat for a short while at this time (about 30 days). Worn it maybe a dozen times...used it once using the heat feature on Halloween. Overall it's not a bad jacket. It's thick and warm, the zipper is decent and it's a decent fit on me anyways. The issue I have comes to the heat part of things. So in the few times I've worn this item, I've noticed that the wires in the left breast area keep moving around. The right area has not moved this entire time and lays flat, but sure enough the wires in the left have moved and are bunching up. I'm not sure how long this will truly last at this time (especially for the cost) as now I worry is it going to short out if I add the battery and try the heat again. Overall, it's a decent item...but maybe the quality control isn't always there? Maybe I got one that's defective in the stitching? People should be aware spending this much...that the wires bunch and that causes concern and not the greatest fit anymore...it's kind of annoying.

I got this as a gift for my elderly father that lives with me. He constantly complains about how he's always cold, and we have had many arguments about how he turns the ac to 80 degrees farenheit in the summer. So for Christmas my sister and I got him this heated jacket. He likes that it's not hooded, and looks like a regular jacket. I was surprised how comfortable it was, you can feel the heating pads but they're not obtrusive, and the fabric has a nice soft feel to it. I got the extra battery, but my father seems to be able to use the battery that came with the jacket for an entire day. Still, it's good to have extras. Since Christmas he's worn it every day and I don't have to hear the constant whining of a man baby about it being to cold in the house, so IMO that calls for 5 stars.

The electric heating work well and the battery lasts quite a while. It has a some hotspots and colder spots, but it keeps you warm. The problem? The bottom of the jacket just flaps around your waist and lets the heat right out. You ever put on a puffer jacket and go outside and have a gust of wind go right up the back of your coat? It feels like that. You're toasty but then you move and the warm air just leaks right out the bottom. These jackets need an elastic section at the bottom hem that will keep the jacket sealed around your waist when you zip it up. There's little bit of stretch at the hem, but not enough to draw the jacket against your waist. I'm 6 ft 200 lbs, little bit of a gut but not much. Bought a large. The shoulders fit well and the jacket looks nice, but the bottom hem of the jacket just sort of hangs around my midline. Works okay while I'm sitting still, but anytime I move or walk the hem pulls away from my sides and lets the warmth out. Very poor design choice.
