I bought this coat last December. So, here is my 1 year review. It still looks and functions just as well as it did last season. It's light weight and unlike other heated coats, the battery is lighter and unnoticeable after wearing it a few times. Battery weighs in at 6.5oz (my smartphone with case weighs 10.9oz), so it's really not an issue. 3 heat settings makes it convenient for whatever weather you are in. I bought this for riding my motorcycle in the winter and it works great. I have only turned on the heating elements twice and that was for 20 to 30 degree weather. Only complaint I have is I have a long torso and it's a little on the short side for me but I deal with that on allot of clothes.

Great jacket which is super warm even without the heater turned. It's a little smaller than most normal size large jackets and I would prefer it to be a XL.

    • Charge lasts a long time, runs small for an XL, hood is too big and covers my eyes.

I spent the extra money for the down, and it is quite warm without the heater. The heater works well, but not evenly. The neck seems much hotter than the rest of the coat. The hood is way too big and covers my eyes. I tried a baseball cap when I was snowblowing and that worked. I tried a "chip clip", which also worked, but didn't work well against the headrest in my car. The battery lasts long. I forgot my ipad charger the other day, and this battery was able to fully charge my ipad. The sizing also runs small. The XL is snug on me. I was afraid an XXL would be too big so I kept it. I had purchased the basic heated sweatshirt prior and loved it. Getting ready for a trip to Iceland and bought this and all I can say is wow this thing stays toasty. The heat is on the back, chest, heated pockets and my favorite is the collar is heated. Worth every single penny

Really wanted to like this jacket as it seems like it's good quality. The problem is that it fits like a box. There is no drawstring at the bottom so it bows out making it look ridiculous and lets cold air in. I can't believe that's the one thing they cheaped out on.
