I’ve had this brand before and doesn’t disappoint. I wasn’t sure if a med or lrg. I’m 160 lbs and 5’4”. I kept the med and am able to wear a bulky sweater under it. Keeps me warm! Would like a bigger zipper pull for top zipper.

1. I should have read the reviews because the zipper is flimsy. I hadn’t even put the coat on yet, just unzipping it to try it on and the zipper was already being difficult. I can imagine it getting worse over time. 2. The arms are narrow so if you’re a lady with some muscles, you may want to size up. Beautiful color and well made, otherwise but I will return it.

Purchased my regular size based on other buyers’ reviews. The fit is snug under the arms - worried the fabric will tear when shoveling snow. Also, fabric is noisy - hoping it settles down as I wear it. Heavier weight than similar coats I have, but, geez, it’s warm. That’s why I’m keeping it. Plus the sides unzip, so making sitting in the car more comfortable. Only gave it 3 stars because of tight fit under the arms.

So, I bought this jacket during the summer, knowing that I was going to need a warm jacket for a planned trip to Boston during the winter. This jacket is GARBAGE and that garbage starts and ends with the zipper! It’s freezing temperatures and the cheap horrible zipper has separated TWICE now! Once when it was 28* out and it split so that the zipper was both at top and bottom and solidly stuck. After standing OUTSIDE and trying to fix it, the second time the exact same thing happened was when it was pouring down and 38*…. I can’t believe I paid good money for this jacket which has disappointed me so thoroughly! and it’s not like you bring two giant winter jackets for a week-long business trip… so now I’m walking into business meetings, sopping wet and frozen bc this horrid jacket failed its one and only job. Please don’t waste your money and learn from my awful mistake! Look for good wide tooth, plastic zippers that work…. This coat has NONE of those features!!!

I'm really happy with this coat. I'm a hockey mom and it keeps me warm in the rink. I sized up so there would be plenty of room.

I read the reviews of this coat and the zipper problem. However, I thought a little wax on the zipper would solve the issue. No such luck. I even looked up the problem online to see all the suggestions for stubborn zippers. I tried most of them and it was a big zero. But I needed a coat and this one also had metal snaps so I tried those. It didn't take much pressure for the below the waist snaps to pop open. Too bad, I Iove the style and the cranberry color of this polyester coat. I'm just looking for strong safety pins to help me to keep it closed. I'm so sorry, but I can't recommend this coat.
