This jacket is really cute. It looks just like the picture. The fabric is smooth sort of like a soft suede. The design is clear and vibrant. It is lightweight so I"m not confident it's for the Midwest winters. It runs small. I originally ordered a medium but quickly ordered a large right when I receiced the medium. The jacket was slight tight across my chest. I'm 5'4,169 and a 36c. I do think the jacket is slightly over priced. I also purchased the BCBGeneration puffer as well. I like it better because it has detachable hood. I can wear the BCBG jacket without the hood to expose the high collar or with the hood to protect my head from the element.

I love this jacket, with its petite-friendly cropping, sleeve lengths and cord adjustment at waist. My size is usually large petite, but I found the XL in this to be a good size. So why’d I return it? I found another, lighter Orolay jacket I liked better for Texas winters, at a lower price point.

This jacket/coat is fantastic! It’s got a nice weight to it and would be keep you warm without a lot of bulk. I was surprised when it arrived that the fabric is soft and velvety. The collar is very tall - and gives the jacket a fashion forward look. I sized up to medium but my usual size is small - perfect fit.
