It is sturdy as you would expect it to be for a portable fabric closet (it is sturdy). I love this portable wardrobe. I purchased it for my 10 year old granddaughter for when she's with me. It gave her her own space and she is responsible for keeping it neat and from getting broken. It is not as sturdy for repeated use. But we are very careful with it. The baskets that we purchased for the little cubby areas also serves to make it more sturdy. Argh! This thing was hard to assemble. It took two people to assemble it. The bag ripped when we tried to put it together. It is sturdy, but fair warning...It is very difficult to put it together!
