So I initially had heard the "amazon jacket" was on sale for prime day and I looked at that one first. You know the one.... its the same brand, has a whole bunch of pockets, its kind of boxy looking, and all the youtubers go on and on about how amazing it is. Well... only thing is that style really isn't "me". I started looking at similar suggested jackets and this one was listed. The looks of it drew me right in. Well, I know its summer, and I won't be wearing this till probably November or later, but I decided to just go ahead and order it. The price was very reasonable for something that people said was so well-made and so warm and stylish. The coat came today and I have to say, IT LIVES UP TO THE HYPE. I worried that my 5'4" 170 lb frame would look like a puffy tree stump in this thing, but I feel like it actually makes me look taller and thinner.... like how is this possible for a puffy jacket??? I usually look like a blowfish in most puffy jackets! I ordered mine in Navy blue and the orange accents are a nice touch.... gives it just that little extra something with style, and of course the inner lining is orange as well. I'm actually looking forward to our nasty Michigan frigid snowy winters just to have the chance to wear this! Oh, and I can tell it will perform well just by comparing it to my other coats. I fully expect that even 10-20 degree F weather will not be an issue for it at all. The neck has a lot of fluff to it, It has a nice hood, and the bottom goes all they way down past my butt and then cinches in to keep the wind out. I might actually WANT to go out and walk my dogs.... if only this brand made dog coats! Seriously though, if you're on the fence just get it. OH.... one more thing though. If you're on the fence about size, size up. I ordered a large because i'm dieting and expect to be at least another 10-15lbs slimmer by winter, minimum, and was hoping to have room if I wear a thicker sweater or layers underneath. I put it on today over a fairly thin long sleeved shirt and it was perfect. So IMO on a 5'4ish person, the Large is going to fit a 160lb person perfect over a moderate weight sweater. For me, since I'm still a little heavier, I'd stick with only thinner shirts in a L or get an XL if I wasn't losing weight.

I had first ordered the Navy color in a medium. However, my husband pointed it out to me that I could be mistaken as a Bears fan in Wisconsin. Additionally, it was a tad too big for me...so I returned it for a black small. Anyway... I love this coat! I’m 4’11”, 120lbs. Generally between 34/36 A/B depending on the bra. The coat ends just below my knees. I live in Wisconsin and I have tried this coat in 40, 30, 20, 6, 0, and -12 degree weather. It holds up just fine and keeps my torso warm (gets a bit too warm over 40 - but I finally acclimated to WI winters). I ordered a small and it’s fitted. I had previously tried the M but as I don’t wear chunky sweaters, it was too big. Mobility is on the edge of almost being too tight but I can lift my arms fine enough. I also wear light to medium sweaters under this jacket at size S. If you wear chunky/heavy sweaters than definitely size up. Large hood which you can tighten. Decently wind resistant. Haven’t tried it in rain. Which there were more than 2 pockets. Pleased with my purchase. *note: this is not an ‘adventuring’ coat. If you’re going outside in negative degree weather, there are coats that are made for that purpose (hiking in Antarctica?). Stay safe, stay warm!

Beautiful jacket and color, love the style and look, very nice and kind of on the lightweight side but not much. Also not much room for layering. Fits close in size , but leaves little room for layering up for frigid weather. So you may want to SIZE UP, depending on your body type and shape. I’m very curvy and full figured I wear an 1X but got an 2X for layers and still have little room with layers. I should also point out it’s not quite true to size. Otherwise this is a great buy! I still gave 4 stars instead of 5 because this is a really nicely well made coat/ jacket and worth the price $100. I took off 1 star due to fit/sizing. I highly recommend.

I love this coat! Unlike other coats that I’ve gotten online, it really does fit right. I like the look of it, it is a puffer coat, but it’s not enormous looking. It’s nice and warm but at the same time it is not heavy. I love the color. I got the navy blue which is a very dark navy blue. It’s very pretty and just what I wanted. The style and the stitching is not overly fussy so it’s elegant looking. The quality of the fabric is very good, not cheap feeling. The zipper works just right and the pockets are soft and cozy to warm your hands up. I like the way the collar zips up because it zips all the way up and keep your chin warm but it’s not rubbing on it or too tight.And on top of all that the price was very reasonable.

This coat is very practical, yet stylish. I am always looking for a warm coat that is not super bulky. So far, this coat seems to be warm, I have not actually had a chance to test it out, since the weather in Chicago has not been very cold. However, I will say that I agree with previous reviews. It runs a bit tight at the chest area so sizing up is not a bad idea. I am 5'2" weigh 112lbs, 34C and hips 37. I bought a medium and it fits just right. I don't like coats to be really tight or snug, and this gives me some room to put sweater underneath if I want. The sleeves hit mid hand. The length is good, hits right below the knee, although I would have preferred a much longer length to keep me totally covered, but it does the job. The hood is the perfect size, not too small, covers with plenty of room, and covers your neck and keeps snow from hitting your face. It does not have an inside locket and zipper is not very smooth, but hoping with wear it will be easier to zip. Overall, a good purchase for price, and would recommend. I got the black.

I ordered to Orolay jackets - this one and the popular Orolay thickened women’s down jacket. I really liked both styles but didn’t know which would fit me best. Overall, both jackets were good quality for the price (no rips tears, seam issues or zipper issues). The fabric of both coats does seem cheaper than more pricey brands, but as expected for the low cost of the jackets. Both coats were super cute and stylish. I ordered this jacket in a size small, as that was the smallest available now and reviews said to size up. Had an XS been available, however, I would have ordered that size. I ordered the other jacket (an oversized style) in an XXS bc I thought that would work best for me given my build, in spite of the many reviews stating it ran small or was too tight in the shoulders/arms/chest (seems to be a common complaint in reviews of Orolay coats). All that being said, I am returning this jacket and keeping the other. I am 5 feet tall and weigh roughly 100 lbs with a petite, slender build and smaller chest. Both jackets fit me extremely well throughout the upper body, including arms and shoulders. This jacket; however, was cut to flare out past the hips. This gave me a really unflattering balloon effect between my hips and knees while being more comfortably fitted on the top. It was an odd look, I felt a bit like a Dr. Seuss character. The jacket was also long on me (as expected for the style and my height/size) and it hit past my knees. Also, the tassels, which I did love the look of, were only inches off the floor (albeit I was barefoot trying it on. But they would have still been really close to the floor even with winter boots). Overall I did like the style but the cut was odd for me. I did like the look of it on others in the review pictures, so perhaps it’s better suited for someone who is taller or has more curve to fill the jacket out more. Just didn’t work for my body type.

My husband & I went to an all day Baltimore Ravens event for a Steelers / Ravens January game. It was forecasted to be below freezing that day so I looked for the heaviest & most comfortable looking coat with a decent price and of course best reviews. I chose this one in cream. Glad I did. I love my coat. I’ve gotten quite a few compliments. It keeps me warm. Note: this coat is not for those winter days of over 40. It’s made for those extremely cold days. I would buy it again. I am 5’2” and the bottom of the coat came down just past my knees….I needed it long because I didn’t want to keep complaining to my husband. We were prepared. Thank GOD!

I own several of these coats, all pictured. They are the warmest I have found. But I do not recommend the XL- it has little to no insulation in it. Literally, almost none at all. I contacted the company, they gave me a few pointers, but to no avail. The insulation is just not there. I have to send this XL back. All of my size L are superb, however. The last picture of the two blue coats, side by side-- the right one is the new XL I ordered and has insufficient insulation. The blue on the left is a size L and is FULL of insulation. VERY WARM. I figured I would try a size XL because some of my outfits are thick and layered, and the size L can be too snug. As far as weight goes with the L versus the XL, the size L is even HEAVIER than the size XL. Same coat. Doesn't make sense. Not happening. Not the XL. So disappointed.
