So warm. So I am a southerner in Michigan for the holidays. And yes, I am freezing. It is currently 32 degrees with wind and with this coat I don’t feel it at all. I like the hat, it has some material that is by the face so you don’t get cold when the wind blows. There are snaps and zippers that allow you to expand the coat. Say if I am wearing 2 sweatshirts, I can unzip and unsnap to make it wider so it’s more comfy for me. The when I’m just wearing a sweater I snap and zip them back up so the coat is slimmer. There are lots of deep pockets so no issues there with carrying my gear. I read on the reviews the zipper isn’t good. Now I’ve only had this coat for a few days but the zipper works just fine and I don’t see any issue with it. The sleeves are wide enough for me, which was another issue I saw with this coat. I am 5’8 and about 200lbs. I am proportioned for my thickness so not carrying all my weight up top or at the bottom. I got the XL and like I said, zero issues. It is thick but I’m not wearing it for a beauty contest though it’s cute enough. But it does the job. I’m 49 and could care less about fashion, but it’s still cute enough. It’s function is great. The price was right. It is now a winter staple.

I live in Northern New England and it's already been very cold and windy. I walk my dog at 7:00 AM and we've already had temperatures in the teens with winds of 25-30 mph. This jacket is the warmest winter wear ever. It is truly windproof, waterproof, and warm. Pockets are fantastic. It's also long and covers well without being a coat. Although it seems to be bulky when putting it on, once on the body, it's lightweight. It's easy to move in the jacket as well, especially picking up after my pup. I wish it had: a drawstring to cinch in the hood when it's really windy and a two-way front zipper. These are small items as the jacket is such high quality that it's worth every penny. Beautiful, too.

I recently saw this coat on a pregnant relative, who showed me all the features and told me she found out about it from a friend and it was a deal on Amazon and she just raved about it. It was a freezing cold day and we were sitting outside while her daughter played on some swings. I was freeeeezing in my hoodie and jacket. So when I got home I had to order the coat. I have had it for exactly two days. It arrived new in perfect condition. No smell! I put it on over a sweater right away and was pleased to discover that the sleeves were not too tight. It is so roomy inside that I may never need to expand it, but it is good to know that I can! Plus it adds to the style. I wore the coat out today and it was a bit too warm, but I didn't get all sweaty. It was so comfortable. I am thrilled with the purchase. I am 5'6", 200 lbs, and I got a XXL. I probably could have gotten away with an XL, but I am happy that it's so roomy and I think I look cuter when I'm drowning in my coat. The sleeves are just the right length. Mine came with a 7th pocket, on the inside, so that made me happy too. I cannot recommend this coat highly enough.

I have been looking for a warmer coat for winter and am not disappointed. Quality material, color exact as in picture. The coat feels substantial without making me feel like a snowman. There are plenty of pockets, no need for a purse most times. The cuffs are well sized and they don’t let air sneak in. The side zippers allow the coat to widen if you need to sit. The hood is fuzzy, cozy, warm. I will be looking at the other styles for future purchase.

I purchased my sunny yellow Orolay Thickened Down Jacket in July, anticipating a heavy mid-Atlantic weather. As a Southerner, my previous coats from other companies left me freezing each year and I wanted to treat myself to a better coat. I have been really happy with my coat so far, despite teasing from locals that I was ridiculous for wearing it in 40-degree late fall and I could be seen from space in such a bright color. But the joke was on them when it suddenly dropped into the 20s and I was still cozily in my coat outside! Plus, the yellow shade is so sunny as days get shorter, I get compliments every time I wear it because it cheers people up to see it. Additionally, I feel safer wearing it while out with my students or my kids because I am so easily located. Unfortunately, fast forward to January and while out with my kids in the snow, I bent down to brush snow off my child and the main center zipper ripped away from the fabric of the coat at the bottom. I was bummed, because I'd been sledding and had no issues with it and I've worn it while being tackle-hugged by various ages of kids at work--all without any incident or showing of wear or tear. I am hoping I can securely repair the zipper this time, but if other rips appear from predictable wearing of the coat (bending down, etc.), I am really hoping they only happen where I can easily repair it. This coat is SO warm, and it's a parent's dream coat because of the secure and deep pockets. The hood is nice and deep for windy days and I like that the elastic cuffs help keep gloves in place or let me tuck my hands in to warm up even faster when I forget my gloves.

I got the green color, it’s a nice color. it’s a very warm jacket but really big. I am always a small and ordered a small and it’s big but I wouldn’t reccomend sizing down because it can get tight with layers under it. The comfort and warmth is worth keeping even though it’s a little big

I was honestly skeptical that a quality coat could be at such a low price. However, I am pleasantly surprised! It fits very nice and feels like it’s well made with nice, thick material. Heavy coat perfect for the snowy winter where I live. The green color looks the same as advertised. And the style is perfect for pregnancy and baby wearing! Overall, love this coat and highly recommend! I’m usually a L/XL and bought the XL to ensure I could wear thick sweaters underneath and baby wear with enough room. The fit is perfect.
