What I really like about this coat is how soft the inside is. It’s like wearing a cozy blanket. It’s fairly warm, definitely warm enough for my needs, but you’re not going I want to do an polar expedition in it. I don’t really find the coat flattering, it kinda looks like a burlap sack, however I figured that going in and I’m just using it around the house mostly when doing outdoor projects around the house during the winter. From the pics it looks like it has 5 pockets (4 exterior and 1 interior), but flap/bottom pockets are fake which was kinda a bummer. I appreciate the interior one though. From the size chart, I would order a medium. Based on the reviews, I sized up and am happy I did. It’s not huge and leaves room for a heavy sweater. My biggest issue, I ordered “deep forest” expecting a dark green. The color is more of a dark brown with a green tint which isn’t even noticeable in most light. I'm 5'2 hourglass, 40in hips, 34in bust, 30in waist. I bought the large and it was too big. Wearable but I think a medium would fit nicely. I wore it for a day and it is very warm. The zippers and pockets seem sturdy and there are many of them. Length was great, arms cut well and hood is on the smaller side. I wish it had a cinch to close it around your head and the front zipper came up to cover your mouth. i bought it for 150 after tax and then it went on sale for 97 so i bought it in the medium so hopefully it fits better! I think it's worth that much, It doesn't feel cheap but it doesn't give me the impression its a coat I'll have for years and years. ... show more

I love this jacket. I was honestly really skeptical because it’s hard to tell with how jackets and things will look online. But OH MY. Lol. I got the white jacket, with honestly was pretty dumb of me. But THIS MATERIAL on the outside. I love it!! And the soft fur on the inside is SO SO warm. I wore one layer the other day and had to wait for a shuttle for Jury Duty and boy was I so so warm, I could see others with bigger jackets even colder than I was! Love the length, love the pocket size, the hood is not neck limiting at all. AND the cinching on the sides really does take in the waste a lot if you want to accentuate your shape in it. I love this jacket as a whole and will probably slowly but surely buy it in every color lol. I must buy tbh. ... show more

I really liked this Orolay coat, unfortunately I’m sending it back. The coat itself seemed to be made well. It was quite comfortable and I’m sure it would have been very warm. However, it runs Small! I read a lot of the reviews, most everyone seemed to have the same opinion that it ran true to size or even big. Because I like things to be a little looser and I wear a lot of sweaters in the winter, I got the large. Well, I’m 5’1” and weigh 135 pounds, even though I could zip it up comfortably it wouldn’t of allowed me to wear a bulky sweater underneath it or any sweater at all. I should have gone with my instincts to order the XL, but after loosing 52 pounds this past year, I went with the general opinion. ... show more

I have been searching for a coat like this for an eternity! I wanted a coat that was longer and hit below the waist, with fur/fleece lining, a hood, and a shaped waist. This completely delivered! The fur lining inside feels extremely soft and warm. Note that the fur is in the body and the hood but not in the sleeves. It seems high quality and well made. The pockets are large. They are slightly angled so sometimes a little tough to get your hands in but not bad. Also note that the flaps are just for decoration and the actual pockets are the zippered ones above the flaps. I ordered the Small and it fit as expected. I tried it on with two sweatshirts just to see if I could layer and it is snug but still fit well. I love that the button near the top allows you to fully cover your neck/just below the chin so you feel cozy warm. I am excited to use this for chilly East coast winters. I also like the waist cinchers which make the jacket feel more shapely and avoids the "stuffed garbage bag" look of bulky winter coats. The only negative for me is that the jacket is not waterproof. The outer layer is made from a thick, polyester/cottony type of material so it will protect you from wind and maybe a little moisture but it is not waterproof. So happy I found this! Update 1 year later: I still like this coat but it will not keep you warm in sub-zero temperatures. I live in the northeast US. In the 30s Fahrenheit is probably as low as you’d want to go. It does not have much insulation. Also, it’s a bummer that the hood does not have a draw string. It looks great and good for mild winter days but not an all-weather coat. ... show more

I love the coat with the Sherpa lining. It definitely keeps you warm. I usually don’t care for hoods but I like the way this coat is made hood and all. I have black and the reason I dislike the color is the Sherpa lining looks like lint all over the coat.
