I first brought an Orolay jacket several years ago after reading an article about its popularity. It turned out to be one of my favorite winter jackets ever. I thought I’d try and duplicate my luck and order this jacket. So far, so good! I love this one too! It’s warm, long enough to cover your derrière - essential for winter warmth - yet not bulky. No zips in the pockets and the hood is kind of huge (looks fine when it’s down) but fits really well otherwise. Really love it.

This coat arrived in July, so it's difficult to say how it will hold up during a winter in the Midwest. I thankfully don't have to stay outside in the winter for a long time, but I do like to stay dry and warm. I am now a plus size and my past winter coats sadly no longer fit comfortably (won't zip). I was looking for a jacket that wasn't a men's, covered my bottom and would be able to accommodate a cardigan or sweatshirt. This seems to fit the bill. I like that it seems warm without being overly bulky. I purchased a coat last year that was definitely warm, roomy and waterproof. But after receiving the wonderful "rib" from a co-worker of "I didn't know Serta made coats." I retired it to just times that I have to run outside to take out the garbage or shovel snow. lol. May have to come back and update when it is in full use.

Pros: First, this jacket is very warm. I live in NYC and the temperature can drop pretty low. The sleeves are long enough for a tall gal such as myself and the chest area leaves plenty of room for the girls 😉 Cons: Kinda tight on the bottom. I have you unzip the bottom just a little before I sit or try to get into my pants pocket. So if your a woman with really large hips this coat may not work for you. It could also use another pocket or two. Overall I love the coat. It looks just like the picture and fits my body really well. I will definitely be buying more coats from this brand again.

Believe it or not, the Down coat is flattering and extremely warm and comfortable. I was concerned about the length and the tightness in the lower area, because it does hit you mid thigh, but the coat allows you to release the zipper at the bottom. Getting in and out of a car is easy as is sitting down in it because of this. Would purchase again in a minute.

I originally ordered a small, but returned it for an extra small and I am so pleased! This coat is sooo warm and I love that it’s still sleek and stylish. I absolutely hate being cold, and I get cold very easily in winter - but I think this coat may keep me toasty even on the coldest days. Love how large the hood is, and that the zipper can go all the way up and cover your neck for extra warmth. It may be a little long for some people’s taste, particularly if you are shorter. The longest part of the coat lands around my mid-thigh. For sizing considerations - I am 5’2”, 111 lbs, jeans size 00/23, and small chested.

I bought this coat for one of my daughters, a 5' 6.5" tall and slim 13 year old, using the try-before-you-buy program to make sure the coat would fit her well. The coat is manufactured, distributed and sold by Zichi Trading, a cross-border e-commerce apparel company in Jiaxing (Zheijang, China) d/b/a Orolay, and the owner of the brand. In selecting a coat for a teen, I kept in mind that Orolay had a remarkable fashion success before the pandemic with a coat it introduced at the time it began selling in US Amazon. I used the Drawstring Down Jacket measurements of the size chart to select the XS size, which provided a good fit. Other relevant measurements (with the coat laid flat), which might be maintained, proportionally or not, across the sizes, are: (1) hi-lo hem has a 4" difference at midpoint; (2) height of the collar is ~3.75"; (3) hand-pockets are ~9" deep, and are closed with a snap fastener; and (4) chest-pocket fits a 7"-long phone with room to spare. My daughter is delighted with it and she will keep it, but I have two strong reservations. My main criticism is the location of the adjustable "waist" drawstring. This string is 3.5" to 4" below the coat armpit, and this is shorter than the typical range of underarm-to-waist length of mesomorph (cis-)females, between about 5.5" and 7", in whom the waist is at or very near the level of the belly button. My attached photo shows that such an armpit-to-string value is about 30% of the waist-to-shoulder. In contrast, in the mesomorph (cis-)female, the armpit-to-waist length is around 60% to 65% of that between shoulder and waist (see inset). A very unfashionable consequence of this maternity-dress like, high location is that tightening the drawstring makes the wearer appear as having a developing belly. Another non-trivial issue in a coat touted, at the time of this writing, as “say goodbye to cold beauty” (seriously Orolay?) is that the two-way, double zipper lacks a storm/wind flap with snap fasteners to keep the cold air or melting snow from leaking through the long and non-waterproof metal teeth chain, such as when going to school early in winter mornings. Take this as a neither positive nor negative review, but a neutral one -- curiously, for Amazon, the mid point of their odd rating range, 3 stars, is considered negative: its cup is always either full or empty. .

I purchased this jacket to take my dog and daughter on walks when it was cold outside. This jacket was great, and I was so happy with everything about it until my daughter puked all over the front of it. I followed the washing directions (hand wash only and lay flat to dry) but there was no way to get the smell or water/soap stain out of the fabric. I ended up having to wash the whole jacket instead of just a spot, and all the filling and fluff inside disappeared. Now it is useless and just a simple hanging piece of cloth. Literally has no fluff to it at all. There is no way I would purchase this coat. DO NOT BUY. Spend a little more on better quality that can actually be fully machine washed.
