    • Cheaply made flimsy plastic pieces
This kit would be really nice if all the pieces were about twice as robust. It's so under built that after putting it together I was afraid my test of 5 gallons was going to break this thing. I'm using a 15 gallon drum and in order for it to fit the bung adapter has to go on the middle pipe, which places the pump itself super high in the air on the end of the thinnest pipe I've ever met. Also for some reason my plastic pieces had dried rust-colored... Maybe dirt? Particulate matter, I'm worried it could have been used with some unknown chemical previously. The pump housing did have some kind of fluid in it too. Not impressed. ... show more

    • Good price if it all holds up
I use this pump to move rainwater from a 55 gal drum to watering cans. It is SO much better than using siphon! The pump comes with all parts as shown. The parts are lightweight metal, except for reinforced plastic hose. Not the most heavy -duty pump but so far it has been worth the price. The strongest part is the blue pump. Unfortunately, the hand crank is low quality wood on handle. A mix of good and average, but you're not paying $100 either. So far it has been used 3X/ Will report any issues with age. ... show more

This drum pump is hand crank operated that is designed for moving non-corrosive liquids and will fit in 5 to 55 gallon drums. I like how everything is made with this pumping system except for the plastic toy-like red material collars and screening filter that should be made out of at least an aluminum alloy in my opinion….they are the Achilles Heel here…deducting 2 stars. Comes with pipe tape thread sealer and a clamp for the flexible hose mount. ... show more

    • So Easy and Efficient
This pump works like a charm. The gears are all smooth, making the cranking easy, the hoses are strong and well-connected. I've used it for several hundred gallons of water transfer with no problems. Recommended.

    • Very cheaply made
The design of the pump is great and the price is fantastic, but the materials very cheap. This pump will not hold up to any long term use. It felt like it was going to break when I was putting it together. Suprisingly, It works and its easy to use, but don’t let your ham fisted friends use it.
