Description
Is the lens disposable? No! We repurpose the lenses from disposable film cameras. The lens itself is not disposable and takes unlimited photos/videos. I bought Retropia, but my camera won't take photos? To take photos with your Retropia camera, you’ll need to turn on the "no-lens shooting" or "no-lens release" setting in the camera’s settings menu. This will allow the camera to capture images without a physical lens attached. Does it compromise image quality? The Retropia lens is intentionally designed to create a soft, nostalgic look. While it’s not “clinically perfect,” that’s exactly what makes it special—it adds character and charm that traditional lenses can’t achieve. Why not just use editing software or presets to achieve the look? While editing software can replicate some effects, it lacks the organic imperfections that make disposable film photos so unique. The Retropia lens creates these effects directly in-camera, saving time while delivering an authentic vintage aesthetic.

Awesome lens!
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
This is such an awesome lens! I absolutely love the compact size and ease of use. The pictures while using this lens come out great, loving the vintage look! I will absolutely be recommending this as it’s a must have lens.

Not what was pictured.
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
The item is not what was pictured at all. I returned and reordered twice in hopes that it would look the way it was supposed to and it didn’t. So disappointed. It’s missing the white part of the Oreo bit.

Functions as intended, does not look as advertised.
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
It does pictures that look like a disposable camera. So that part is accurate. I don't know if all versions are this way, but the M43 mount version does not have the full "cookie" look. It has the front, but does not have that middle "stuf" layer-which is a big part of the fun of what this lens is advertised to look like.

It's not what I expected
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
Honestly, I'll say it's not what I expected or what they advertise. It looks slightly similar, but nothing like what's advertised. I took some pictures so you can see it before buying this lens. I'm thinking of returning it.

A real blast to shoot with
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
This is an incredibly stupid lens and I am 100% here for it. There's something perverse about slapping a cheap plastic-fantastic f11 lens on a super expensive body, but the results were great. It's probably going to vary from lens to lens - the whole point is they're imperfect - but mine has some heavy vignetting, an uneven level of softness outside the centre, huge amounts of bloom, light rays galore, and it washes out colours a bit. With a little additional colour grading in-camera the results is perfectly imperfect and cheap disposable camera, which, again, is the whole point. There is no focusing. There is no picking an aperture. You compose. You shoot. It's gloriously fun. It arrived the same time a many times expensive lens did, and I've barely used my 'real' lens because this one is such a blast.

So much fun
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
I have included a few shots taken with the Retropia lens on my GX85. Super simple to use, it twists right on and you just have to enable the camera to shoot without a lens as there are no electrical contacts because there is no focus or aperture control! Which is what makes this little Oreo looking lens so charming. The point is to get a little retro and a little lo-fi with it. There's a weird and cool compression to the look of the shot that lets you focus on composition over settings. It's all just a piece of plastic so it's super light and there are not any fancy enhancements like image stabilization, but this thing also costs a family-of-four Starbuck's order, so the value for the money is apparent. If you want truly retro looks like I got, you will need to process these post shooting, but the hardware is where the image starts and this thing is really fun!

Really great effect lens!
Size: M43 Mount Compatible
I bought a much cheaper version of this on aliexpress for $1 ($5 shipped), but it's the same lens. I love the effects I'm able to get with it! It really does give off a great retro vibe! Using the flash on old furniture gives off a slightly spooky vibe lol see my examples.
