So why call it the Symphony iii this third iteration of the classic collection has undergone a few slight design changes, starting with the hands. The signature dauphine hands have been swapped for a spear-tipped set. The Chapter ring is now flat against the edge of the Case and features a concentric design. Additionally, the date window has more of a rounded frame. While these are all pretty subtle changes, the watch certainly hasn’t lost its luster—it’s still as polished (literally) and elegant as ever, especially with its sunburst dial. The size of the watch Has been upped by a mere. 6mm from the original. As mentioned, it’s been upgraded with our caliber F6722, which is automatic, manual-winding, and hacking. In fact, the movement Can be observed through a clear exhibition case back, just like the models that came before it.

1 day review - pictures do not do this watch justice. You need to see in person to appreciate. I bought the white dial leather strap version and it has surpassed my expectations from the pictures. The dial is everything on this watch. Sunburst on this white and sometimes almost chrome looking dial depending on the lighting is gorgeous. And with a fully mirror polished case the watch is beautiful out of the box. The leather strap is decent enough, with time and breaking it in it should be fine but I can see any dress strap matching perfectly with this watch. Can't comment on the accuracy yet after 1 day but if it's anything like the previous orient watches I've owned it should be fine. It has hacking, which for this price isn't a given, so I'll know how accurate it is soon enough. ... show more

After adjusting the links, this watch fits my wrist pretty good and looks so icy with the stainless steel and single toned bezels and dials etc. The round shape and size of the watch face shines and makes it feel a lot flashier without having to use any diamonds or anything. I haven't tested the accuracy or how much time it loses per day because I'm only going to be using this watch from time to time but I'm sure the reputation of Orient and other reviews can speak for itself in reliability. ... show more

Orient watches a division of Seiko, are the best bargain going. High quality in the entire watch. This is a solid hefty watch that is just the right size for me. The dial will rival any top line watch. The automatic movement keeps excellent time, and it has a hacking feature which allows me to synchronize the precise time. This is my "dress" watch and I'm loving it. The dial is technically white, but with the sunburst, it almost has a slight Champaign tint to it - which is very nice. I took off the bracelet and added a dark gray leather band which fits my style and look better. No complaints so far and recommend it as a nicer dress watch over a diver or other. ... show more
