I've been in the process of purging and organizing every room in my house. Its a satisfying job but not an easy one. That being said, I looked for MONTHS to find the perfect storage bins. I needed ones that were not only the right size for various locations but also ones that were sturdy (but not too heavy) and looked attractive. These CityLife bins covered all of the requirements that I have. The added bonus of the chalkboard labels & chalk marker was a great bonus as well. However, it you don't want to use the labels, the bins have open handles which would allow you to use clip-on labels. With my second order, I ran into a little problem and had to reach out to the seller. They were SO helpful, friendly, professional and they solved the problem immediately. They’re nice and sturdy and I like that the lid provides support so the bins can stack and slide easily. I don’t like that the lid indents inwards so it make sit a little hard to know if the items will prevent the lid from closing. I guess I can get a sharpie and mark all along the edges. Or washi tape. These are great containers especially since they have lids. I stack them up, Lable them, and put in the closet. Very versatile! I use one for simple first aid, one for makeup tools, one for my favorite CS nails.

    • Lids Don’t Fit Well

You have to perfectly align the lids for them to sit right. I’ve had these for several weeks now holding regularly used items in our living room and most of the time the lid is off, under or half on (which to me defeats the purpose of even buying these to keep the items out of sight). And when we first got them I had to keep the lids on for about a week just to make the white container form to it properly since they came stacked, one was warped and the lid wouldn’t fit it right until I let it sit with the lid on untouched. That part is better now, but I would avoid these if the items you’re storing are every day use items. Once the lid is on, it looks great!
