Inexpensive light fixture with an expensive look. Works well with the dimmer we already had installed, but does not come with one. If you don't already have one that's compatible, you'll need to purchase one. I like that you can select the type of light you'd like before it's installed. I am getting older and no longer feel comfortable standing on a ladder next to a staircase to install a new lightbulbs. I researched just getting a led bulb that would replace the halogen bulb in the old fixture. But I thought that this probably would be easier to install as I didn’t remember the size of the bulb in the old fixture. It was. One trip up the ladder and my assistant (my wife) handed me the new fixture and accepted the old one. The fact that the color of the light was so easy to adjust was greatly appreciated by me. Purchased this light for a new bathroom install. Really good even bright light choice of three different color tones. Very reasonably priced I'm very happy with this light I also like the way the cover removes for cleaning. I highly recommend this light it's wonderful.

as most reviews say, Lightweight light, bright and easy to install. I agree. Wires are pre striped although not striped enough to attach to 12 Ga wire at least for me as I really like to wrap the wire at least 2-3 times for a good connection. After I striped just a tad more off it was a cinch attaching to the house supplied wire and using the supplied wire connectors and attaching to the supplied box screws to the electric box. All went well. The light is bright as I set the selector to 4000K. I replaced a walk-in closet light and a master bath light and am pleased and so is wife. Thank you. ... show more
