Adds a contemporary finish to an older home. Also, the adjustable setting for the kelvin value is VERY useful because ... There seem to be wide variations between different LED's from different manufacturers. For example, if i do have to replace a single LED candelabra bulb in a fixture with multiple bulbs, I usually plan on having to replace all the bulbs in the fixture at the same time -whether they are burned out or not- because it's nigh impossible to find a single replacement bulb to match the output of the remaining (good) bulbs - even if all the specs appear to match (frustrating). But I digress. The point is that being able to adjust kelvin lets you get the light output you want where you want it. And for the negative ... these things are cheaply made and manufactured - think disposable. But they work for me in this case cuz' I was looking for some inexpensive "upgrades" to help sell my house. ... show more

I installed it in my entrance hallway . It is non-intrusive . Just kinda fits without attracting your eye to it .The cover does not fit entirely flush with the ceiling which provides light around the the base , so no shadow on the ceiling . Its inexpensive and does the job.

as most reviews say, Lightweight light, bright and easy to install. I agree. Wires are pre striped although not striped enough to attach to 12 Ga wire at least for me as I really like to wrap the wire at least 2-3 times for a good connection. After I striped just a tad more off it was a cinch attaching to the house supplied wire and using the supplied wire connectors and attaching to the supplied box screws to the electric box. All went well. The light is bright as I set the selector to 4000K. I replaced a walk-in closet light and a master bath light and am pleased and so is wife. Thank you. ... show more
