I got this 100 footer because the wifi just doesn't hit right all the way back to my bedroom. I ran this cable under my carpet, and utilizing about 80%, with 20% just hiding under my bed. I saw an imidiate change in downloads. On wifi, with my Series X, downloads were hitting almost 300mbps, when I kept connection. Since using this Cat 8, there is no drop and game downloads average over 500mbps. (I so far have seen it reach 566mbps) Upload and downloads are night and day vs wifi. I'm glad 100 feet of cable doesn't hurt my DL speeds. I'd recommend this. To me it's worth every small penny I paid.

This is a great CAT 8 cord with super fast speeds and helps my gaming pc run amazing. The braided and flat cable is great for no tangles and it was more than long enouch for the distance I needed. I have it plugged into a wifi extender and it works like it is hardlined. Would recommend this and it is a decent price too.

They work great. For pretty much anything. Just make sure you pay attention to what your coming from and going to. They are to much to run from my wifi router to a wifi mesh unit. And to much to run from a wifi router to a Amazon fire stick. But amazing from our wifi booster to the ps5 and ps4. Definitely make sure of the length you need. The ones I ordered are the 3ft and that is what they are. No pull on them at all. I would recommend these to anyone looking to enhance their speed.

Great cables. Good speed, I have 2gig speed and I get that with these cables. Easy to manipulate and run along the wall. For the longer cable they even included wall hooks for flat cables. I would definitely angaina and recommend.

Thought I'd experiment with these cables. Didn't work. I couldn't even get them to train at 100mbit with a gigabit Cisco sg200 managed switch and Realtek 2.5 gigabit cards. I tried disabling energy efficiency on both sides, trying both Windows and Linux drivers, different ports on both ends, preventing ground loops with an intermediary unshielded cable that blocks continuous shielding, and all sorts of tricks. They just would not work more than a few kilobits per second, they were so bad. I tried one cable, then a second. I didn't bother with cables 3, 4, and 5 after that. I looked at the one star reviews and realized there are pictures looking at the ends and people complaining about the terminations. I have terminated countless cables in my life and I was surprised that there was so much freedom of movement in the wires at the end and many of them were pushed up so high that there was a question regarding if the ends pierced the wire insulation as they are supposed to. Mine look the same way (especially pins 3 and 4 being elevated (pattern: 00100100). I tested the terminations with a cable tester and detected conductivity and no breaks. And they test as conducting through the shielding. I don't believe terminations are the problem. I have initiated a refund because they simply don't work in my environment. I suspect it is because I may have too much nearby interference (a wifi router, 65 inch screen, dozens of other (shielded) cables, etc.) or that my old switch is starting to fail. It has been in a dusty crawl space for over a decade and the replacement cables do work but not on every port. I'll update this review when I get another switch to test them against. The sellers offered a refund and to let me keep them. That's good.

This is my second time ordering the Ethernet cables. They work very well and I have had no problems. Used them on a previous Wi-Fi system (cable) router and satellites. The new cables are on our new mesh system that is fiber optic. The speeds are consistently over 1gig. Connections are smooth and snap easily into the jack. Very happy with their performance and operation.

First of all i just seen price for length and cat8 saw the braided didn’t really look at picture saw almost 5 stars was whatever dog just chewed up my wire needed something fast got here next day and i open its a fuss if your in a rush like i was then laid it long enough then im like now this wire is running lose thru hall was about to toss box and our you kidding me they sent wire clips to mount the cord amazing so yeah buy this Ethernet cord worth
