Years ago to avoid using WiFi, I bought a 10-foot long yellow Cat6 ethernet cable. Kinda like Big Bird. It's easy to spot and plenty long enough. Small problem: the connectors require a tool to unplug from any device! This new Cat8 cable doesn't have that problem. It connects and disconnects with ease. (Nevertheless, I don't believe the connection ease of use is specified in the Cat8 standard.) This item definitely deserves its spot as the #1 best selling cable. ... show more

Amazing cable build quality is nice, looks good, I actually got 10-20 mbps download increase and 1-3 mbps upload increase over my old cat 6, had a 50 feet cat 6 to this in 20 feet, did 3 tests on both back to back middle of the night and surprisingly a little better, the upload speeds being slightly faster are actually very important for streaming on pc so well worth the couple bucks upgrade ... show more
