    • Excellent 75ft outdoor Cat6A cable — reliable for my PoE camera run
Color: Black Size: 75 Feet
I bought this 75ft Cable Matters outdoor Cat6A cable specifically for a network run from my house to my garage, and the 75ft length was exactly what I needed. I ran the cable along an old utility line that is no longer being used, so this wasn't just a short indoor patch cable installation. I needed something that could handle an outdoor run and reliably carry both network data and PoE power to my security camera. So far, it has worked perfectly for that purpose. My PoE camera gets both its network connection and power through this cable without any issues, even with the full 75ft run. I've had no problems with the camera dropping its connection or losing PoE power. The cable itself feels very well made. It's definitely thicker and more substantial than a typical indoor Ethernet cable, which is what I expected from 24AWG Cat6A outdoor cable. At the same time, I was pleasantly surprised by how flexible it was. Uncoiling it and routing it during installation was easier than I expected for a cable this heavy. Another reason I chose this particular cable was the pure copper construction. For a longer PoE run powering equipment outside my house, I specifically wanted solid copper rather than a cheaper copper-clad aluminum cable. I haven't independently tested the advertised 10Gbps maximum, so I can't personally confirm that claim. My main requirement was a stable Ethernet connection with reliable PoE over the entire 75ft distance, and it has handled that without a problem. For anyone running Ethernet to a detached garage, outdoor PoE camera, access point, or another exterior network device, this is a much better option than trying to use a basic indoor patch cable outside. Based on my installation and experience so far, I'm very happy with it. I'll likely buy another one when I add another outdoor network run. ... show more

    • 24 AWG ethernet cable Cat6a
Color: Black Size: 50 Feet
This is a great cable from a good reputable brand. Cable Matters is a good brand that makes a honest cable. Not some claim of what it is but actually what it claims. I always say its worth paying a bit more to get a honest claim on products.

This cable is solid. I snaked it through my walls and had it twisted in all kinds of ways and it was fully functional.

    • This ethernet cable delivers gigabit speeds and customer service is great
Color: Black Size: 200 Feet
UPDATE: The cable started working again, back to near gigabit speeds. I don't know why it malfunctioned, but it could have been related to the record amount of rainfall we had in our area recently. Moreover, Cable Matters customer service was great. They responded to my concerns quickly and were willing to replace the cable when it stopped working. Here's my original review, now updated to 4 stars because the issue seems to have been resolved. I bought 200 feet of this ethernet cable from Cable Matters in April 2025. It worked great for 12 months and then became unusable. Internet speeds fell from near-Gigabit to around 20 Mbps. Even worse, signal drops made the cable unreliable and eventually unusable. When I purchased this through Amazon, Cable Matters assured me they would replace the cable should it ever fail for an unexplained reason. I took great care to install it without sharp bends and did the direct burial in soft soil at the proper depth. For months, I was pleased with the signal strength, speed and reliability. I have contacted the company for a replacement roll of cable and will update this review, either way, when I hear from them. ... show more

    • Great cable at a great price point
Color: Black Size: 150 Feet
Since I added this to my Starlink I have had not connection quality issues. This works exactly like any other CAT 6 cables should work. I was able to pull this cable through tiny holes and run it around gutters and it stayed operating perfectly, this thing is durable.

    • Very poor jack quality. Definitely not recommended.

I ran this cable between two of my sheds, so both ends of it are inside and not exposed to the elements. Within about two months, one of the ends is melted enough that pins 1 and 2 no longer pass the signal. Absolute waste of money, terrible quality. I've had cable fail before, but it's usually the actual connector breaking where it joins the cable. This cable itself seems to be of a very decent quality. However, I have never had the plastic overheat and expand between the pins. I'm using this in enterprise Cisco switches. ... show more
