The Wrangler’s steering wheels is too thick for regular Club-style locks. Those have U-grooves that fit too tight around your grip and cause wear on the leather. They will also rub the horn area because they lack forward clearance. The other problem is the tight fit limits positioning. This can be a problem if you parked with your wheel turned. This product, on the other hand is great! It has wide U-shaped grips and plenty of clearance away from the wheel. Fits perfectly! Comfortable fit anywhere on the wheel and doesn’t come close to touching your horn. Fits at all angles, regardless of steering wheel angle. Also comes with three keys! I won’t be using the window breaker because I’m clumsy and that invites a bad accident. You don’t have to install it (it screws in).     • Good old fashioned way to protect your car.

It’s old school but it still works like a charm. The lock prevents the car from being driven away unless the steering wheel is cut. That’s a sure sign to law enforcement of a stolen vehicle. It’s a great dissuader to make someone move on to another vehicle.

    • Could've been better..
The lock itself is fine but the "protective" plastic end cap is useless. It is slightly too big and won't stay on. Also, the included peel and stick foam pads meant to protect the steering wheel from the lock arms just melt from the direct sunlight and leave a sticky, gooey mess on the steering wheel. Lastly, there are two small plastic pieces in a bag labeled "gift". Have absolutely no idea what these are for as there is no instructions. My suggestion for future buyers would be to purchase the black model as the red foam handle gets dirty easily and do not apply the foam pads to the lock arms ... show more
