This rug was great at first… then I washed it and it came out like the pictures! It says it is machine washable… I beg to differ. I only buy rugs that are machine washable and with hardwood floors I have a lot of rugs all sizes and I have washed them all… this rug is the worst… unusable now! 😡🤬 UPDATE: Right after I wrote this Amazon contacted me and the rug company Ophanie contacted me and the were so apologetic and true to their word and I received a new rug within a week! I bought 2 of the grey/black in 2020. Still almost as good as new. One is getting a slight wave. But wait, it is from washing it in washing machine numerous time. I have 2 pups that have mistaken the rugs for their puppy pads. Even in the wrong room. Ok, so the darlings are 7lbs and 10 lbs. it’s still urine. Yuck. But I put these in washer and magically they come out beautifully. Today they are on prime special day price and I bought 2 more but in white. My son bought 2 also. These were so worth the price. Hopefully in 2 more years I will post another review.. ... show more

I bought a expensive carpet pad to go under it to make it feel super soft to walk in otherwise its just shag on hard floor. So make sure you buy a carpet pad guys! Not the anti-skid kind with holes in it. Im talking about a quarter inch thing rug pad. It will make the carpet very comfortable to walk on barefoot. For what you pay, this is the best you can get. Its not the highest quality of shag carpets.. But with a nice pad and normal vacuuming (rollers off) , it seems to hold up pretty well. ... show more

    • Very soft but too expensive for what you get.

These are incredibly soft when you get them, but even one wash reduced the appealing fluff to more of a matted dog look than a plush and pampered pet. They (I bought two) were intended to be a nice soft layer over two of my dog's Coolaroo beds to reduce the chill in winter, but they aren't even as thick as a summer-weight blanket and one of my dogs already ate hers!!! (They only weigh a few ounces and feel nothing like a rug.) If I had paid a few dollars for these I wouldn't have considered it quite such a loss to have it destroyed almost immediately, but for almost $25 it was a heavy loss. I would have been better off to just buy a yard of faux fur for the job. These might work well enough in a space where no one walks (just for looks) or on a chair or sofa as a snuggle layer, but as a rug (especially if you have dogs) they aren't in any way worth the price. Its kinda thin. More a throw thickness than rug. Feels like a long haired cat fur. Vacuum had a hard time w it but its light enough you can pick it up and simply shake it off.

I received the rug yesterday when I took it out of the wrapping it is a little thin and the backing does not stick to the wood floor so I had to buy some rubber matting to put on the bottom of the rug so won’t slide but otherwise it is cute it’s nice on the side of my bed since my room is kind of like a wine and gray and white colors looks very nice ... show more
