My 7 year old loves this set. She loved the animals. She also loved the inclusive character included with the set. Great quality, as always with Legos, no missing pieces, and she was able to complete it almost completely on her own. Only challenge was putting together the windows, which was even a little challenging for us adults (felt a little like they might break since they’re such a tight fit). Like every Lego set, it's well made and the kids love it. In my case, my grandson builds these sets and then plays with them instead of taking it apart and rebuilding it. I prefer the plain old lego sets where they have to use their imagination to build something, but once in a while I cave and buy him a set like this for Christmas or birthday. The theme is very cute- who can complain about rescuing pups? :) ... show more

Easy enough for my granddaughter to assemble but once that is accomplished she likes to play with it and leave as is. But it completely falls apart when trying to scoot it over or lift. Frustrating to her. It was a gift so I am sorry for that.
