A wonderful gift for the Gardner in your life - even if that Gardner is yourself! This marvelous set complete with sturdy, well made canvas bag holds all the tools (included) you're likely to need - with room for more. The included tools are high polished steel I would say about 18 gauge so they're strong and solid as well as resistant to rust. The wooden handles are a nice touch too. These are by no means "top of the line" but they're very well made and at the price for the entire package you would expect to and would pay more for the tools alone. I would have given this 5 stars, but the tools bent on my when I dug through hard/dried dirt. The tools work most ideally in moist soil. The stool is also a bit high and could be uncomfortable to sit in when handling seeds, weeds, or dirt. The stool works best for pruning of shrubs and other activities that require less leaning over. My dad really likes this gift and uses it often though, but it could be made a little better. ... show more

bought this for my wife. she loves it. makes gardening so much easier. although she went ham on a stubborn root and broke the handle of the larger shovel. other then that, its great. if you are wanting to save your knees/back while gardening this is awesome. if you are just diggin through light top soil, its great. by the way this doubles as a great hicking/camping chair. i strap it to my pack while hiking, just remove the back under the seat with a few snaps. comes off easily. ... show more

I don't garden so I'm not too sure how amazing this product is, but I got this for my mom as a surprise since she loves gardening in the backyard of her house and she was super excited to use this product. She was raving about all the tools they had, and even was surprised to see some other tool in here that she says most kits don't provide. She was also very happy that it turns into a seat/chair for her to sit on when she's doing weeds or planting new trees/flowers in the garden. ... show more

My mother-in-law is a big gardener, but as she's aged working outside, bent over or on her knees planting or pulling weeds has become more difficult. This was the perfect gift for her and she couldn't have been more vocal about it. She loves the stool, but.more so, finds the tools and their pockets to be the best feature of this garden set. She said she was always losing one tool or another or finding them just out of reach. I bought this for my 90 year old mother who loves her flower gardens. She absolutely loves it. Everything is organized and the tools are easy to get when you need them. I bought this as a gift for a my wife because she loves gardening, she needed some new tools, and she was complaining about her back hurting while potting new plants. This thing is okay, but I honestly think $40 is asking too much for what you get. Everything that comes with the set is just a little flimsy. I'm not totally dissatisfied, but you would definitely be better served by buying the tools you want from a better brand and a sturdier gardening seat separately. ... show more
