This is a sturdy metal landscape light with adjustable mount. It is good looking nd well constructed. It is also a total bargain compared with purchasing name brand units. I needed to add to our landscape lighting after the contractors had executed on their contracted design. They had used expensive lights that cost over a hundred dollars each. I decided to give these a try at less than a third the cost. Installation is easy if you have familiarity with low voltage lighting. LV 12v landscape lighting is AC and so you just tap into the line where you want it by cutting in the two lines from the light to the two power lines with two three way junctions (or use a "hub"). If none of that makes any sense to you, please get some knowledgable help because the instructions that come with this light will be insufficient for you, for sure. This light does NOT come with a bulb. You must supply your own compatible bulb. I used an MR16 mounted LED, and have not had issues. I had some laying around the house because I have some low voltage track lights indoors that use LED LV bulbs with the MR16 base. This supplied plenty of light as you can see in the photo. I also supplied some pics of the wire and installation. Good value.

This garden light works well, but it needs more features to earn five stars. In the plus column, it is solid brass, it has good articulation adjustment for casting light at different angles, and the stake that goes into the ground is sturdy and long. However, I realized after it arrived that the two rubber o-rings could deteriorate over time (live in a hot and humid climate). I also wish it had an adjustable shade to change the light pattern. Overall, it’s a good value and it works well.

These units are much sturdier and more attractive than most of the outdoor spot/flood light fixtures available. The lamp portion of the unit appears to be made entirely of metal and snaps together with some effort. It seals out moisture and rain with O-rings rather than just a rubber gasket as on others. These also make the fixture someone challenging to open. To open, you need to rotate the front lens part slightly counterclockwise and then wiggle it until it comes off. I experimented with putting a little smear of paste wax on the O-rings, and this seemed to make the fixture much easier to open. The base or "spike" of the fixture is made from plastic which should hold up to soil contact better than the aluminum found in most fixtures. The fixture takes a standard 12 V MR-16 style bulb which is not included. Note that Amazon carries these bulbs in multiple colors.

I purchased this light as an uplight on my Crap Mertle tree. I wanted a nice quality light that would point up at the light. I am very impressed with the quality of the fixture. It is pretty heavy unlike all the lights that you buy in the big box stores. I put in one of my MR16 bulbs and it fit very nice. The clips hold the bulb pretty tight, ensuring that the bulb will not fall out after you put in the hood and bring it to your final installing spot. The hood has one feature that is ideal for a fixture that needs to shine up, it has a curved glass on the front. I took a picture to show you, but the reason you want the bulb glass is that it will refract the light as well as it pushes the water to the outside. The main body has two rubber gaskets to keep out the water. Once you push on the hood (with some force) it twists in place to lock it in place. It comes with two gel based direct burial splice connectors, which is what you need to lower maintenance in the future. The ground spike is a hard plastic and works great. It allows the wires to slide through and long enough to hold the weight of the lamp. Well worth the price IMO. It will last a long time.

Although this is a different brand, it matches almost identical to our high-end landscape lights. The fixtures feels very solid and heavy, the lense is thick and water-tight. I'm confident this light will be very durable in harsh conditions. The love the warm temperature color and it was super easy to install. It comes with exterior wire terminals so you can tie in to your low voltage line.

The fixture itself is very heavy duty and has a great double o ring seal to keep out moisture. The brass finish is really good looking and matches the rest of my lights well. I also like the lens which is not just a simple piece of glass to protect the bulb but a rounded polished glass lens to spread the light evenly. I think this means though that the light spread will be the same regardless of what bulb focus is. For me its a good thing because I want the light to have a nice even spread. There are only two things that I don't like. First is that for the cost I would think they could include a metal stake, it seems odd that such a high quality top is matched to a weaker bottom. I could be wrong, but I was not comfortable driving the stake into the ground, I dug a hole and placed it and then backfilled and compressed the dirt around it. Second is that there is no pinch connector to just attach to the power supply. I know that this is typically what you find on cheaper big box store options but I've used these with no problems for over 15 years and it sure makes installation more convenient.

The lamp is very sturdy and takes a standard MR16 LED bulb. It looks great, but there are two major problems and I deducted one star for each. 1. The light came damaged (see picture). The shipping box was fine, so it was probably damaged during manufacturing. 2. The wires came with outdoor wire connectors (see picture). But for me, there is really no way to connect this to the main 12v line. All of the other landscape lights that we’ve purchased before come with the press-type connectors that directly connect to the main 12v line. I had to buy that separately and then use the wire connectors.
