I purchased this light strip to help illuminate the bathroom mirror and as far as brightness goes, it makes a big difference. Installation was pretty straight forward, there's really nothing difficult about it. My only recommendation is to figure out how to bend the strip when you want to go at an angle around 90 degrees as it will not twist easily. I buy out estates and bring everything to my location to sell off over time. I have problems with dark display areas and have tried other lighting solutions. Nothing lit up the areas like these lights do. See photos for the areas with and without the lights turned on. Big difference. Thanks!

We had an old dresser mirror that we put on my daughter's desk to create a vanity. We put these lights on the inner edge to give her more lighting while doing makeup and hair in her room. This really lights things up and we like how it is adjustable. It's easy to install. It is pretty ugly looking when it's turned off but I think that's the nature of this type of lighting. Overall, we're happy with it. I just wish there were color options for the strip the lights are attached to.     • Great Light Strip - Awkward Power Cord Length

These lights are very bright. I installed them on the interior side of an unlit closet (around the perimeter of the door casing facing the side walls). It lights up the closet very well. My only gripe is that the dimmer switch is only about a foot from the beginning of the light strip. I had to buy an extension cable to go from the dimmer switch to the light strip connector. This was so I could mount the switch in a reachable location. Keep this in mind If you are planning on mounting this strip up high, like along a ceiling corner, or any other place that you can't easily reach. It's a very weird design considering the cord between the outlet power adapter and the dimmer switch is quite long. Just look at the product pictures to visualize what I'm saying. Speaking of the extension cable, I asked what size the barrel connector is in the Q/A section here and the manufacturer was inexplicably confused. A "barrel connector" is a pretty common thing. Almost all laptops use them for the charging cable. It's weird that they don't know the parts of their own product. Anyway, for those who need this info to order an extension cable I found it after measuring the connector and testing with other parts I have. The barrel connector size is 5.5mm OD x 2.1mm ID.
