I'm no expert hammocker. I'm a novice. I do love the outdoors, and I do love this hammock. Unfortunately my wallet does not love me and my wife instructed me to "send that contraption back, you don't need it". Well I DO need it. It's big enough to hold me nicer than she does. It doesn't tell me I "spent too much money on camping gear" or anything negative at all. In fact, it keeps me from contracting diseases from those filthy flying vampire bird insects known as "mosquitoes". I told her that she should honor this piece of well stitched fabric, for it is my shield, my floating castle of opulence. Sadly, it is in the UPS Store Returns now. She cast my best friend away like it was just a Walmart hammock. Someday, in the future, I WILL buy you again. (Secretly of course). One day, we will continue our outdoor adventures together, buddy. IT IS A FIVE STAR HAMMOCK! I'm just sad that I'm not allowed to lay in my best hammock and stare at the stars. I think my wife is jealous of it. THATS how good it is!

Good but Too Narrow. Cinch buckle is heavy and not user friendly as that of the dutchware ones. Oh, I love the ridgeline though. Very light and tough. I'm disappointed they canceled the shipping of the orange one i bought along with this.

Been using this rig indoors full-time the past couple years between a couple climbers belay anchor plates in load bearing walls, with occasional trips. Realized it just works so deserves review and I don’t wanna get out of bed today. Roomy enough 11-ft cut. No noticeable stretch to the ripstop fabric. Buckle suspension is relatively fuss-free. Structural ridge line maintains consistent sag angle for a flat diagonal lay. Accessory loops along hem sometimes used with (added) diagonally opposing shoulder & foot bungee tie-outs. Subdued brown color suits me & glad the logo isn’t retro-reflective as on some other OneWind products. A bottom drawstring insect net (not used while indoors can you believe it) without body weight sealing the bottom can collect late-night protein snacks while unoccupied. Silent in use. No zipper, just bungee drawstring. Ridgeline organizer pouch was eventually replaced with a roomier mesh model.

i normally don't leave reviews on amazon, but i find them helpful and i thought it was needed for this. i searched all of the cottage vendors as well as many other vendors on amazon. i ended up with this hammock tarp combo because it checked all of the boxes i wanted. i needed a large durable lightweight hammock for backpack hunting. ultimately i wanted comfort and lightweight. this is something that doesn't usually go together, however it does with this product. i am 6foot 3 and 270 lbs and needed something wide enough to achieve a good diagonal lay. i also wanted a tarp that had "doors" since i could find myself in a snow storm when using this and also wanted a bug net for summer fishing trips. this set has it all. this hammock feels very durable and the tarp is extremely well thought out. it is really a nice system. i had a chance to use this hammock/tarp setup in ND in feb, with real feel of around 3f. performed great as would be expected. one last thing is i cant say enough about the seller. i had reached out to them to ask some specific questions and they responded very timely an were very pleasant to deal with. they answered my questions and then some. i also feel like they really care about my satisfaction with the product and were very polite. all in all i am super happy with this system, can you find cheaper...yes, but not for the features and products that i wanted in a hammock system.

I'm making the conversion to hammock camping and upgraded my $20 hammock to something a bit bigger for the diagonal lay and a bit easier to setup in the field. The include adjustable straps are really strong and provide unlimited adjustment vs my +/- 4 inch loops on the old one. The top line is also great for hanging gear or a flashlight for easy access at night. I have not used the include bug net yet as the bugs are not out yet, but it seems like it will do the trick. Happy with the purchase!
