this headstrap is pretty comfy! easy to install and the battery will outlast nearly any vr session you may have, ive used it for upwards of 7 hours on a single charge and it held up fine.

The original head strap broke and my son wanted a replacement. We researched the options. The replacement was about $14. We looked at this one and others like it bc of the adjustable head piece and a rechargeable backup battery to extend play time. At $40 it was a great buy and was easy to install and comfortable. If you are going to do VR, spend the money on one of these upgrades.

Returned Within 24 Hours Style and comfort: A+ Functionality: Oof. I really wanted to love this product. I saw one negative review that mentioned battery issues, but the overwhelming number of positive ones had me sold. I shrugged off that one bad apple—oops. Unboxing was a whole vibe. This thing looks fantastic, balances the VR headset weight like a dream, feels comfy, and the build quality is impressive. Assembly was a breeze and everything screamed “premium.” Then came the real test. My child excitedly drained his VR battery to try the new power pack. Plugged it in—bam, battery drops from 10% to 7%. It briefly jumped to 100% like it wanted to impress us… then nose-dived right back to 7%. I thought maybe it was user error, so I gave it a go myself. Plugged it in correctly, powered on, everything set… and still, the battery kept draining. Even the battery pack lost charge without helping the VR at all. Cue disappointment. My child quietly packed it all up, trying not to cry. I tried to lighten the mood with, “Well, maybe the VR’s just telling you it’s snack break time!” 😅 If it worked for you—seriously, you’re lucky. But this one didn’t deliver on its promise for us.
