Description

Create a barrier against ants, fire ants, roaches, fleas, earwigs and more with TERRO Ant Killer Plus. This fast-acting insect killer treatment works within 24 hours to keep your home free of the most persistent pest insects, while also offering residual control. For increased effectiveness, these granules can be applied as a perimeter treatment around the foundation of your home, spread on lawns, or used a spot treatment on ant hills and fire ant mounds. TERRO Ant Killer Plus is packaged in a resealable shaker bag to allow for easy application. Simply open the top, grab the handle located at the bottom of the bag, and start spreading the granules. There’s no need to use a spreader! To apply as a perimeter treatment, create a 3 to 10 foot band of granules along your foundation. To treat ant hills (except fire ants), apply 1 to 2 teaspoons on granules over and around the ant hill. Be sure to water the granules lightly immediately following application. To control fire ants, apply ½ cup of granules over, and 2 feet around each mound. After apply, gently water the product with a minimum of a gallon of water to each mound area. Avoid using a high-pressure hose, which could disturb the ants and cause migration.

Last summer we had skunks digging up the yard at night - going after the grub population in our turf. The lawn looked like someone had taken a hand spade to it in patches every morning. This spring we put in fresh plant beds and I started seeing grubs in the soil as I worked. That was enough to get ahead of it. I put down GrubEx about eight weeks ago, watered it in, and let it work. The results have been clear: no skunk damage this season, the lawn is full, and when I dig around the new plants I am not finding the grubs I was seeing in early spring. For a single-application product at this price, that is the result I was hoping for. WHAT WORKS - One application covers 5,000 sq ft for the full season. Cost per square foot is reasonable compared to hiring a lawn treatment company. - Easy to spread with a standard broadcast spreader. Granules are uniform and do not clump. - Visible results within weeks. By week 4 I had stopped seeing fresh skunk damage. By week 8 the lawn had filled in and the new beds are undisturbed. - Set-it-and-forget-it timing. Spring application, done for the season - no follow-up needed. WHAT DOES NOT - You absolutely have to water it in. The instructions say this, but it is worth repeating - if you spread it and skip the watering, you have wasted the bag. Apply right before rain or right before you run sprinklers. - The bag is dusty when you cut it open. Stand upwind and wash your hands before touching your face. Not a deal-breaker, just a heads-up. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone seeing skunk, raccoon, armadillo, or mole damage in their lawn - that is the grub population getting raided - or anyone who has just put down new plant beds and does not want them undermined. If you have no signs of grubs and no animal damage, you probably do not need this yet. Wait until you see the problem. Five stars. Awesome!! I put some through my yard and directly on ant beds. I sprayed them with the hose right before it was going to rain and by the next couple days the ant hill and ants were gone. I will definitely buy more and would give more stars if it was an option. I also had some fleas and stuff in my backyard due to the grass being high and thick. I love nature... with that being said I really don't want ants around. Exterminators are quite expensive and realistically I would rather just deal with the problem myself. I had some ants cropping up in my yard, along with some wood cockroaches in the leaf piles. After some searching, I found that this product came highly recommended so I bought it. I have not been disappointed. It's incredibly easy to use; you just open the resealable bottom, shake out some, then put some water on it to soak in the bait/poison. After a few days the ants are COMPLETELY gone from the hills. With that being said, I mostly only used this for the ants part. I put a bit where the roaches are but, since they are far from the house, I am good with them continuing on and doing their job breaking down the leaves. I just couldn't allow the ants to do the same since they were biting me every time I unwittingly stepped on/near them. This is a super fast, super easy, and super cost-effective solution. I haven't even gone through a full bag yet and it's been used several times already. If/when I do go through the bag, I certainly will get another to have more on hand. I have to say, this is probably the least expensive I have found. It is decently effective, but the ants tend to move 10 ft away and start over. So, overall, it works, easy to apply, doesnt smell and does the job most of the time. This has been my go to ant and bug killer

Item works well though it takes over 24 hours to kill the entire ant nests. For some reason they all come out of there nests instead of dying inside yet it works great after using others that kill instantly yet they come back in a few days

The product definitely kills ants. The ants seem to move their nests just a few feet over though. I have decimated many ant mounds. Make sure you water it in good.
