This tent is a game changer for cold weather. The setup was easy for me, if it isn’t really windy and you don’t need guy lines, you only tie a couple knots on either side. The top of the tent connects with adjustable hammock straps and carabiners, everything was held together and made very well from quality material. The amount of space inside was impressive, you can comfortably sleep 2 people with a stove and 4 without provided you used cots, as a single person hammock setup, it is more than enough room. Lastly for the pros, it holds heat very well, on a night below freezing it was still about 80 °F in the tent, the vents and windows ensure you can easily regulate the temperature and clear out smoke. Really, my only cons would be that first off, you need quite a bit of space to put this up. The next and final thing is that single person setup COULD be pretty difficult on the sides if you weren’t an experienced camper. I had a buddy tie the lines while I held the poles straight but now that this line is tied I can just keep it that way and slip the loop over the pole for easy setup next time. I have spent lots of time in hot tents in the last twenty years, I have even sewn my own. This tent is my favorite! This tent is well made, and light and compact for the usable space inside. It is very well priced - I can't buy the materials for this price! The design is very good, however, the rain cover for the stove jack rolls down and pooled up some rainwater there (a simple hole or two at the base of the rolled fabric will probably fix that). The setup is simple, but like most hot tents requires a lot of ground staking. This tent does not come with poles, and hanging from trees is going to be high but secure - be prepared to climb. I ended up buying poles so I can use it if trees are not avaiable. Even tethered to trees, having poles at the corners kept the fabric tighter in the wind. Hopefully OneTigris will sell poles as an option. So far this tent held up well to light wind and snow, and several days of rain. With a wood stove inside this tent is very Cozy indeed! ... show more

I got this tent as an upgrade to me TEGIMEN, and it is definitely worth it. I have had it up all winter and it has been great thru blizzards AND even a couple of thunderstorms due to unusually warm weather this winter. It has held up just fine to 50 mph winds AND hail. It didn't leak at all during heavy rain, so it definitely deserves 5 stars. HOWEVER, it DOES need a few improvements: 1. The windows zip up on the sides, but only have 3 small pieces of velcro along the top so a lot of cold air comes in. 2. The stove port has an outer flap that does zip, but it rolls DOWN instead of UP so when your stove pip is in, and it's rolled up (down) it catches and holds rain water. I added two eyelet grommets for the water to drain (see pictures) 3. The zippers on the doors are a bit on the small side, and I'm not sure how durable they will be. Larger zippers would be better, AND make it easier to zip and unzip. 4. There are tie-backs (loops and toggles) so you can raise one side of the tent, but these are only on one side of the tent. I use them to help string lights around the inside of the tent, and hang items like my CO2 detector from, etc. It would be nice if there were some on both sides. ... show more

This CozShack is the Cadillac of the hammock hot tents and a favorite among hammockers. The two way zipper allows to easily hang a hammock through the doors while staying zipped up. The genius is in the extra side room that allows a lot of area to store extra gear, another cot, or a hot tent stove. It's also versatile in the ways you can open them up for partial shelter or close it all up for cold or severe weather. Just finished a 3 day campout with this tent as my home base. The stove jack functioned perfectly and stove kept the tent very warm while it was functioning. 80% of the time I have to set this up in the dark and can manage it just fine without additional lighting. The hammock capabilities are what initially pointed me in this direction. With the loss of the OneTigris storm bug cocoon system, this was the next best option for winter camping. In order to get a proper hang you'll need to place the hammock straps above the height of the tent straps which is quite a reach for the average person. The larger tent bag definitely helps with the storage of the tent and I have yet to feel the need to stuff the bag with this tent. The stakes don't quite fit the designed loops and what not but I'm all for more stakes if it keeps the strong breeze out. All in all, OneTigris products once again prove their value. If the set up didn't require poles to stabilize it properly it would be a perfect 5/5. 3/19/2025 UPDATE The stitching on the tent side strap popped off. I'm attempting to repair it. Glue didn't hold so I'm going to have to hand stitch the nylon together and figure out a good way to re-seal that part of the tent. Will update again once repair is complete. ... show more

In my opinion this is the best hammock hot tent on the market. Very roomy on the inside I especially like how far away the stove is set up from your hammock. You can open up one whole side completely if you want. Now for the down sides, it doesn't come with any poles. You don't need the poles to set it up but they really help to stabilize the whole tent. On mine I found four places where the seems looked stressed the inside was seem sealed but I also sealed the outside just incase. This is definitely not a backpacking tent at least not for very far it's quite heavy. All that being said I still think it's one of the best hammock hot tent setups out there. ... show more

I've used this tent in all seasons and I love it. First off it's a palace. This tent is huge! Very easy to setup regardless of other reviews saying otherwise. I have poles for the sides which makes it even easier to setup than finding branches which would work too. In the winter with a heat source this tent gets cozy. In the spring, summer, or fall having the vents and windows open is very nice and keeps the tent a pretty even temperature. It doesn't have a floor. However, if you're like me and want one you make your own which is exactly what I did with a tarp, foam floor pieces, and a small rug. This tent is like a home away from home for long camping adventures. This is my go to for trips over three nights. I absolutely love it and recommend it if you're in the market. I've owned for less than a year and all the seam sealer has failed its been setup a total of 5 times and stitches are starting pop the silver lining is fading/rubbing off. A total waste of money if your looking to stay dry while camping.
