This laser hair removal tool has given me the impression that it is a quality at-home tool. It is not inexpensive, but compared to getting these treatments in an office, it is a steal! The instructions are very straightforward, and well thought out with both a quick guide and a detailed manual. I do recommend reading the manual because it (and the sticker on the box) both said that it should not be used by anyone with skin sensitivity, so if you have a sunburn you'd need to wait. I found it very easy to use and really appreciate how this laser tool offers 6 energy levels and an ice-cooling feature. It feels fairly hefty in my hand, but not uncomfortably so. A pair of sunglasses is enclosed (I do wish that they had included a second pair, such as for helping a partner for an out of reach place) as well as a drawstring carry bag, should you wish to travel with it. I did find that the case it is enclosed in is easy to return it to, everything fit even after putting the cords in and out.

The market for IPL devices designed for hair has rapidly expanded in recent years, and there are now a large number of options available on Amazon. Having personally tried many of these IPL devices, it's clear that most work pretty much the same, with only minor variations setting them apart. When it comes to hair removal, the most significant discrepancies typically revolve around power (wattage of the AC adapter), ergonomics (device shape and button placement) and the inclusion of "ICE" functionality, which actively cools the targeted area during treatment. This particular incorporates ICE Cooling functionality, and performs reasonably--though it is a bit on the high end, price-wise, comapare to other IPL devices offering similar features. Specifics of this IPL device: ** Only performs hair removal ** Includes ICE skin cooling functionality ** LCD screens show the number of flashes left and power level (1-6) ** Rated for 48W (medium power for a home IPL) ** Stick shaped ** Rated for 999,999 flashes By utilizing slow-motion photography, I managed to capture a snapshot of the light lasting approximately 1/100th of a second (refer to the attached photos). Keep in mind that the duration of the light emission is extremely brief. When using the device, glide it over the area from which you want to remove hair, ensuring that you expose all the hair follicles in that particular region. Immediate results will not be noticeable. The light emitted by the device sends signals to your hair follicles, prompting them to cease growth. However, it will require multiple treatments spread over several weeks before noticeable results can be expected. Over time, you should observe a significant reduction in hair growth in the treated areas. In the box, you get the tool, a power supply, a protective bag, a pair of eye protection glasses, a cheap disposable razor, plus instructions. Everything fits in a custom "hat box" styled case. This case is too clumsy for travel (and doesn't have a clasp to keep it closed), so I consider it mostly for storage for home use. Ice functionality is another term for "Local epidermal cooling." This is local cooling of the epidermal region (surface skin) in the region where the IPL light pulse is being applied. The high-powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. Epidermal cooling is not required for efficient use, but it may make it less unpleasant to use the device for some users. This IPL device is a bit on the high side of price, given the features. Those features include the ICE cooling, and that it is powered by a 48W power supply, which is better than the lower power usually associated with low end units. Note that the shape of this unit is a bit unusual--most of these are either gun shaped or more oblong. I didn't find it that comfortable to hold, although your mileage may vary. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought this for our team girls and my understanding is pretty regularly to be effective. Our daughters say that it has worked out really well for them over the last four weeks and they’ve been using it daily each. I believe you have to do it for a couple of months before you really start to see long lasting or prolong results. But in terms of cost, this is a much greater value to be able to accomplish Hair removal than going to a local clinic, which can be very expensive. Overall design is great and I would recommend.

This is easily THE BEST laser hair removal system on the market. The machine itself is sleek, lightweight, easy to hold, and super user friendly. The set comes in a beautiful purple leather box, great for gifting. It also comes with sunglasses that are rated for IPL laser; your regular sunglasses won't cut it, so please use the ones they give you. The sunglasses fold up to a really compact size for convenience. The laser itself is NOT PAINFUL AT ALL. I've used a handful of other laser hair removal devices in my life, both professional ones and at-home units, and they all were painful. Not this one. Not even a 1 on the pain scale. It literally feels like nothing, even on the highest setting. But yet, after 1 week of using each day, the hair under my arms is much much thinner, and much more slow growing. From one week of usage!!!!!! I am so excited about the possibilities with this at-home laser hair removal device. It comes highly recommended from me! 5/5 stars

First off, they did a great job with product presentation. Excellent packaging, would make for a very impressive gift. Great set of instructions. I would say both my wife and I have medium skin with brown hair. We both tried this for 2 weeks. It's comfortable to use, the heat level is really low. I didn't really notice hair reduction, but my wife claims she is noticing it. We had no battery issues, ran great for the whole time on one full charge. We have reviewed hair remove products priced much higher that performed worse. Overall we are impressed with this wand.

I was very excited to try this hair removal tool. As I have gotten older, my peach fuzz has gotten thicker and I would like to reduce its appearance! This tool does not give instant results, so it’s hard to say that I can really see a difference yet, but it has not irritated my skin or caused any issues so I will continue to use as directed. The price is high, but I feel like if it works, it will be worth it

This laser is amazing! I’ve had another similar product from 10 years ago and this one is better in every way. One of my favorite features is the continuous mode so you can work a lot faster than my old one. I found that the highest setting doesn’t hurt at all and the cooler effect is really effective. Lastly it doesn’t seem to overheat quickly like other lasers I’ve tried.
