I absolutely LOVE this collar! To be honest, I ordered this not knowing if it would fit or not. I also wasn't sure about the 2 inch width. Our 8 month old, 90+ lb lab, has a neck that is right at 20". I was afraid it was going to be too snug and I would have to send it back. Nope! It fits perfect! I do have it extended all of the way so she better not grow! At least until after the summer! Ha! I never knew I needed a handle on her collar but boy has that come in handy multiple times! I have been using this collar for 2 weeks now and extremely happy. We have an 88 pound GSD (German Shepherd Dog) that has excellent recall, however he HATES bathtime. The handle on the collar is perfect for holding him while we wash him. He also likes to get very sandy and muddy and the collar just washes off clean every time and dries fast so we don't have to worry about him having a wet and soggy collar in winter. It is very light and the quick release clasp works well. I think it's going to last a long time. Highly recommend! ... show more

Ease of use: Got it for my pitbull because we are going on a beach trip. She had a cloth one last time made her neck, very irritated and red. This one was quite the opposite moved around, shook the dirt off didn’t cause any irritation whatsoever. Highly recommend.

I really like the vivid colors on this collar. It looks great on my pup! It's waterproof and has a very strong buckle, yet it is easily released if needed. I also like the added handle for extra support and control. It's extra wide and made to last. The only downfall to the collar is that the ring to attach the tags to is way too thick. You would need an added clip to place all the tags on and then clip to this collar. ... show more

I'm having fun dealing with my father's GSD puppy slobbering all over and stretching or tearing up things related to my guy. This is much easier to keep clean, and it's harder to pull the strap through the hardware to adjust the sizing than past collars we've tried. I don't think this collar will get stretched out to the point it could slide over my guy's head. Plus, the material is easier to keep clean - the puppy still has coprophagia, which means his slobber is NASTY. I love the separate D-ring for a name tag, too; it sucks to accidentally hook a leash onto the tag when they connect at the same point. The hardware feels bulkier than I'd like, but I can't dock a star when it's in the picture. It just looks uncomfortable for a dog who wears the collar indoors, too, to sleep with. The proportions don't really look right to me, either. The collar with the hardware gives off a bit of a "collar accessory for a stuffed dog" vibe, the metal looking unreal. The weight is no issue here, just the possibility of bits digging into his neck. He doesn't seem bothered, though. Overall, it's a nice option. Plus, I love the logo! (PS: Please ignore the slobbery head. The aforementioned GSD puppy was hard at work earlier.) Edit: Unfortunately, the collar started coming apart thanks to puppy teeth puncturing the coating. I've added photos to show what happens when teeth start pulling the coating away and what you're left with if you choose to remove it once damaged. The base collar is still a gradient, but it's nowhere near as pretty. Collar is still perfectly wearable, but I've changed it out for a new one because the puppy got a nail caught in one of the spaces he'd opened with his teeth and freaked out on my dog. I recently adopted a new dog, and this collar has her looking so stylish. The colors are exactly as shown on the product page—a gorgeous ombré gradient that, on paper, shouldn’t work together, but absolutely does. It’s bold, unique, and a total statement piece compared to all the plain-Jane collars out there. Now, I’ll admit—I didn’t read the full materials list when I ordered. I was sold on the color scheme alone. I assumed it was fabric, but when it arrived, I realized it’s actually nylon-covered PVC. My first reaction was: PVC? That’s going to chafe, right? But the material is surprisingly smooth. My girl’s been wearing it for days now, and I haven’t seen a single sign of irritation. In fact, she seems more comfortable in this than in her old collar. The hardware is made of aluminum, and I had some hesitation about whether it would hold up, especially since my dog is a 70-pound, 1.5-year-old husky mix who’s just now learning how to walk on a leash. So yes, she’s a puller. But honestly? This collar holds up brilliantly. Not once have I felt like the aluminum was going to give or that the PVC would snap. It’s ridiculously sturdy without being harsh on her neck while she’s yanking me down the street like we’re in the Iditarod. One of my favorite features is the handle on the collar itself. When she’s off-leash but I need to rein her in quickly, I can do it easily—and in a way that’s comfortable for both of us. This collar is stylish, durable, and thoughtfully designed.
