It stings for the first week or two, but then your body gets accustomed to it and it doesn't hurt as much. I was very skeptical with the price but this product worth every penny and more! It is also super quick to do and easy clean up, no mess. Highly recommend !!

I light skin and brown hair. I have only used this device twice so I can't speak to the efficacy yet but I am happy with the ease of use and lack of pain. I had professional laser hair removal years ago and it was extremely pain removal. In contrast, this device is tolerable with the cooling feature on. There are some areas that are more sensitive than others but again, with the cooling feature, I can tolerate it on the highest setting. It is a little bulky to hold, but definitely still giving it 5 stars. Update: used it for a third time and it died midsession.

I like to use this in the comfort of my own home on my schedule and it will be a savings overall as well. A win-win. There are five modes you can choose based on your skin color. The box very obviously states it is not for brown skin which isn't what the product states on the image on Amazon. I don't have dark brown skin but I do have brown skin and have been searching at length for a solution. Very disappointed this is marketed as an item I can use when the actual product is not. Sending it back.

I have been to the laser clinic too, and compared with clinic laser, this is less intense, There are five modes you can choose based on your skin color.
