The price was amazing! I only needed three out of the whole set but at 14.99 each i got my whole set and more for the price of two. The metal is not soft at all idk what other ppl are talking about maybe they upgraded the set but i had to pound on them before i realized there was a nut inside the fly wheel that i missed and it barley scuffed it and i really pounded on them. Also i went with these because the laser etching of the sizes on them was the clearest to see and last long instead of print or really fuzzy striking. And again the price i couldn’t beat it no matter how you split it. I have 7 different moped kinds and they all have different flywheel sizes so it works perfect for me. I picked out this flywheel puller specifically so that I could change out the clutch in my 2020 Suzuki DR650 with 8k highway miles and about 250 miles of hard off road use, mostly in low gear. For this purpose this flywheel puller works well; my issue is that I'm not too sure it will stand the test of time. The main issue is that, being made of fairly soft metal, these pullers deform a little with every use; if they where made of a more high quality material they would easily last forever, especially for a home hobbyist who only occasionally or rarely has need for a flywheel puller, but as it stands I would be shocked if the puller I need will last more than another 2 or 3 uses. Depending on where you live, @ $33, these may actually be cheaper than renting a flywheel puller, in which case this would be a great buy - just be prepared for it to potentially be a single use item. ... show more

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools. This small engine/motorcycle/ATV universal flywheel puller set contains 7 different adapters, some double threaded for a total of 12 different thread combinations, and 3 different length bolts to accommodate multiple applications. Unfortunately some of the adapters are not threaded very well, and are considered non precision. They may still work, but the set I received had several of the adapters showing thread damage when I opened the kit. The instructions read that 5 of the adapters are left hand thread (install counterclockwise), but after examining them, I could only see one that has left hand threads, so the instruction sheet is incorrect. Kit comes with cheap pair of gloves. Kit comes in plastic organizer case, but case has a plastic hinge that after being opened a couple times is already showing fatigue, so it won't last long. This kit is handy to have around if you work on small engines. Overall quality of the kit is questionable. Price point on this item is considered reasonable. ... show more

With specialty tools it's hit or miss when u buy off brand. These seam ok but I found that 2 of them the threads aren't cut correctly and I couldn't run them in but I did have a tap and die set so I was able to fix them with that and a tiny file but I shouldn't of had to on a new product. But I think they will get the job. Done this would be great for a shade tree tech or a once in a while job would t be good for every day needs if you do alot of timing jobs or crank jobs or anything lower end ... show more
