I have a 30 gallon fuel 'cube' for the back of my truck. This fits in the cube easily. I basically screw it into the bungehole and let the pipe hit the bottom. Assembly was really easy. I had to attach the little pivot arms to the body. I did add a hose (not included) to the pump to get it from the pump to the tractor tank. There is a 'wee' bit of pumping action to fill the 8ish gallon tractor tank, but I have a messed up shoulder so pumping is easier than holding a 5 gallon tank at about neck height until it fills the tank (twice per fill). I am using it on diesel. I am imagining it would work on light oil and possibly gas but I would check before using it on gas. I think everything is made of metal as it feel pretty heavy duty. No need to hook up a battery so very little that can go wrong. So far no leaks or anything like that.

Works well in 55 gallon drums. Have used this to pump fresh ATF as well as empty a drain barrel of old ATF, motor oil, mineral spirits, etc. mix. For a more permanent fixture, would prefer to have the rotary action one, but since this is also being used in drain barrels, I dont mind the lever action. Would LOVE the electrical fuel pump style but you get what you get with Vine so happy with what we received!! Did not experience any leaks when using this, even after going from the old fluid back to a new barrel, any contaminants flushed out fine. Super easy to use if you have at least one arm and half a brain :D Fit for our drums gave us no issues with threading in/on. Thanks again Amazon for an awesome shop product that makes our lives and daily chores much easier!

This was a solid purchase. The 55 gallon pump is working flawlessly for my hydraulic oil. It doesn't leak. It only takes a couple pumps to prime up and has a good flow per pump. It seems well made and is super easy to put together. They include everything you need to put it together easy. The price seems really well for what you get. The only thing I wish it had was a cap to thread on when you aren't using it.

I didn't want to wait too long to give a review on this so consider it a preliminary. This is a solid all metal pump that screws together and has extensions to reach the bottom of a large barrel. Due to diesel prices shooting up and the tractor waiting for a new rim I haven't installed it yet. I'm holding off until it's not stupid hot to set up a test. It goes together well and will pump air if you hold you hand over the bottom to simulate fluid head pressure and open the anti-return flap. No news is good news for now.

OMT products continue to impress me. This pump is higher quality than I anticipated. I really like the all-metal construction, and the lever action is smooth and consistent. The seals seem to be good quality. Assembly was also straightforward. I got this to adapt for use to smaller containers, but I didn't want to buy one of the smaller format pumps with a plastic body, so I decided to just cut down the suction tube on this one instead. For the money, I don't think you could find a better product anywhere. Whether it stands the test of time We'll have to see, but unless you're running a full service auto shop and have to use this on the daily then there's probably little reason to invest in an expensive Lincoln over this.

I used this barrel pump on my waste oil drum, and it’s made transferring used oil a whole lot cleaner and easier. Instead of trying to tip a heavy barrel or deal with messy funnels, I can pump out exactly what I need without making a mess. It was easy to install on the drum, pumps smoothly, and has held up well with regular use. The handle operates without much effort, and it moves oil at a steady pace, making oil changes and storage a lot more convenient. Simple, dependable, and one of those tools that saves time while keeping the work area much cleaner.
